GW2 matches of Group A are up! Instead of posting the images, you can find the match info in the Google Drive.

I'll take that comeback win. Bit dissapointed in Ronaldo there, felt like Zanetti made the wing his own and Ronaldo didn't know what to do with himself!

You're not alone mi paisa. I've had more shots on target in all 6 games so far and I lost 4. The battle for Perú will be a fair one;)

I'm thinking about spreading the games over the week more. Instead of 4 games each on Sat and Sun, I can play a game each on Mon-Thurs, then 2 games each on Sat and Sun. That would be a nicer spread maybe?

I suppose the goat signals the start to a conversion to Islamism?

All hail to Pele the king.

Since, Platini is his partner. I guess, the next GOAT in-line is Don Alfredo

Yeah, @annoyedbyneedoflogin will not be easy to deal with. Me and PDG should think about it. Btw, his idea to draft Platini was a smart call (even though he himself rates platoche higher than the database does).

    Nice game!

I appreciate the compliment. Pelé was my first choice. It will be hard to stop him.
I rate Platini differently than the database does. Corners and longshots are highly overrated yet his aerial game is vastly underrated. The latter goes for many players. The only player aerial is overrated for is Maldini, for as far as I can see.

BTW, Cruyff looks very similar to Di Stefano.

Actually, I'm not certain I rate him more (attribute wise) than the game does, even though I still tend to think of him all in all (peak version which is applicable here of course, and career probably too) as top 4-6 all-time and it's not certain poetgooner would. Whether I agree long shots are over-rated I'm not sure (even depends on what the definition of 'long' is maybe!) but perhaps pace/dribbling stats seem right at the top end or even beyond it for him to me, although in real life perhaps his capabilities in the dribbling department can get forgotten or under-rated on the other hand.

But yeah, your initiative to draft Xavi (although my final call in the end), combined with the 'luck' that Platini was still there the following round seems to have worked out well for us. Maybe the Frenchman will return this game to face Ajax despite that we did better without him against River Plate than in the one friendly he didn't play when we tried 'Cruyff's diamond' with Pele as number 10, but we'll have to see (I know you said to me a few days ago your online time would be limited over the days leading up to this classic Dutch game, so although clearly you're able to be online a bit we still need to finalise things don't we so nothing is certain just yet....).

I'm pretty much done with this game.

I think it was quite apparent in the friendlies that certain players\assets are better equipped for the engine over the real life players.
