Canadian international Adriana Leon joins West Ham. Leon is also known for her blond bombshell looks. Current WH players Julia Simic & Alysha Lehmann are also known for their blond bombshell looks! Coincidence? You decide!

It's an FA Cup week-end in England and the third round proper, the last round before the FA WSL and FA WC teams enter the competition. So it's mostly Tier 3 and 4 teams

    Derby v Stoke
    Huddersfield v Leeds
    Middlesborough v Watford
    Billericay v Loughborough
    Hull City v AFC Wimbledon
    Coventry v Crawley Wasps
    Keynsham v Fylde
    Cardiff v Bolton
    Nottingham v MK Dons
    Oxford v Blackburn

I saw where Kim Little is back on the field, training. That is good news for Arsenal, though I haven't seen any word yet on when she might be ready to play.

    Matchday 12 results and table.

City dropped two big points away to Bristol. Huge win for Brighton in the relegation battle as they are now 4 points ahead of Yeovil.

Big match between Arsenal and Chelsea tomorrow. Arsenal's play has fallen off owing to the loss of Nobbs and two (Samuelson and Mitchell) of their starting defenders. The Gunners have got back Kim Little, which helps a lot, and have been incorporating a couple of new signees into the squad. Meanwhile, Chelsea have been playing well--better, certainly, than earlier in the season. The team has not scored a lot of goals but has been very stout defensively. This should be an outstanding, highly-competitive contest.

But... at the time of WWC 2015 in Canada, Cho So-Hyun actually used to dye her hair blonde. So?

waiting for highlights, but Arsenal looses to Chelsea, thus falling to 2nd place with Chelsea now only 2 points behind. Here were the lineups(don't know why van de Donk isn't playing) & why on earth did Mead get subbed when they fell behind?
Arsenal vs. Chelsea - 13 January 2019 - Women Soccerway

haven't kept up with Chelsea, but big names like Bachmann & Kirby are now just subbing. Possibly coming back from injuries, but still they wouldn't be rostered unless they were fit to play

here was the West Ham vs Man City lineup
West Ham United vs. Manchester City - 13 January 2019 - Women Soccerway

Leon & So-Hyun make their debuts, I'm still kinda shocked that Janine Beckie gets so little playing time for MC(this time a whole minute). She's a full time starter for the Canadian NT

so far, terrible season for the Germans, as top quality players like Bremer, Kemme & Simic are barely to be seen on the playing field

For Arsenal, Van de Donk has some sort of thigh injury. I thought she suffered it in the game but in fact she didn't play at all--and that was another big blow to a team that has had all sorts of injury woes. The Dutch midfielder has been outstanding all year. Mead got hurt during the game--not sure what happened to her. I read that Van de Dong's injury will keep her from making the trip to South Africa with The Netherlands national team. Tough loss for Arsenal.

if your on facebook. here's highlights of the CH/AR. Game seems dominated by Chelsea even though they didn't even start the likes of Bachmann & Kirby.

I've watched a few full games this year, but I feel the league is still a tad behind the NWSL & Bundesliga. The goals come to easy/the defenses are too breach able

UCLA's Hallie Mace signs with Man City. She came in 2nd in the NWSL
s draft, but who wants to play for the Sky Blue these days?

Birmingham with their new manager win away at Chelsea

Man City still one point clear of Arsenal in the table. Both teams looking good for Champions League qualification.

At the bottom of the table, it does not smell good for Yeovil who lost to Bristol 2-1. They need to catch up 4 points on Everton.
