I only have visited The South , Basque Country ....food over there was very nice . I ate one of te best sandwiches in my life with the moutard
Nah, I never been to France.. I wish I could go there.. the only countries I been to is Ecuador and Spain..
Only to Paris. The food was great! I didn't go to upscale restaurants, but did try everything from street food (all kinds of crepes, shishkabobs and shawarma etc), to Quick burger (fast food joint) to small family restaurants. It was always good.
The expensive places sucked I just like the crepe places and the gyro places. Found a Italian/Mexican section and mostly ate there. But the "nice places" near the tower sucked big time
Mexican? Instead of Mexican you should've gone to Mi Ranchito Paisa Gyros are everywhere there. Do you remember the name of any of those "nice places" that you didn't like? We did go to La Terrasse (ecole militaire) a few times since we were staying just a couple of blocks from there and we walked by it on the way to the metro. It was pretty good. Most of the time when we got hungry we just bought street food or went in the the first restaurant that caught our eyes. None disappointed
Who the f*** goes to Paris to eat Mexican? Les creperies and the food trucks were awesome. We even ate at a couple of upscale restaurants (one two blocks) from the Eiffel Tower and were good. The service some times was not optimal but I found that in most French people were nice, despite their reputation.
I agree.. I never been to France, but I would love to try their native food.. I don't see the point in going to a different country, just to go to Burger King or Mcdonalds..
One of my dreams, is to go to China and eat Authentic Asian Food. I also wish to visit the Great Wall of China. Otro de mis suenos, is to travel to Egypt and visit the Great Pyramids.. There's so many places I wish to go, but never been to..
If you earn in dollars now is a good time to travel. I've seen packages for less than $1000 to the far east, Russia and Europe. Maybe not all the same time but we probably take a couple of those trips in the next few years.
Paid $650 each from NYC to Paris. This summer and 750 to Italy from NYC. Kind of sucks because I live in Boston but ticket is so much cheaper and it's a direct flight.
that's not that bad at all for a plane ticket to europe. They seem to always be in the 1k area when I check. anyway, europe for me will defo happen. No doubt it. Besides the obvious countries I want to go to places like Poland, Denmark or Switzerland.
If you don't have the time or money to take a two or three week vacation, just take a short one. So if the travel bug bites you then look for tickets for the fall and winter. Sometimes they're very cheap. About 3 years ago we found some very cheap tickets to go to Edinburgh. Short on time and cash we took advantage and stayed 4 days. This was over Thanksgiving vacation. There's always a way, specially if you're in NY.
LOL.. well thank god, im only 22.. but i did a lot of stupid mistakes, when i first got my credit card as a teenager
Happens to many of us, unfortunately. And before you know it it gets out of hand. I swear, banks shouldn't be allowed to issue credit cards to people under 21.
Subscribe to travelzoo and check tripmasters.com. This week they had a week vacation in Tuscany for $700 (plane, hotel and car).
If you plan to go to europe get a Euro Pass. You for some insane reason have to do it 3 months ahead of time. Its like $150 a person but you can use the train that goes to other countries. I was able to hit up a bunch of places doing that.
Your talking about the Nazi Concentration Camp in Poland? .. I heard it's a museum now.. and No i never been there, but i have seen documentaries about it.. I mentioned this before, i only been to Ecuador and Spain.. but soon i will visit the Whole world!! atleast before i die
Food in the basque country is the best in the world. San Sebastian is my favorite place on the planet.
