Really impressed with the depth to his game. Watching him in Dallas, he makes really intelligent runs. A real #9 prospect

The USSF and FA aren't the only federations watching him: http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=28965 The United States Soccer Federation has leapfrogged Nigeria and England in the race for the services of Arsenal wonderkid Folarin Balogun, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. Balogun, who was born in America, has received a maiden call-up to the United States U18 team for a tournament in the Czech Republic, and is in line to make his debut against Bulgaria on Wednesday, August 22.

Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun will play for the United States' under-18 team in a friendly tournament this week, though the the striker has not officially switched allegiances from England:https://t.co/FeLSfSM5OP— Mattias Karén (@MattiasKaren) August 20, 2018 U.S. Soccer emphasized that this week's Vaclav Jezek Youth Tournament in Czech Republic is not an official FIFA competition, meaning Balogun has not had to apply for a switch of associations. "Since Folarin has represented England in an official competition at the youth level, in order to represent the United States in official competition he would have to apply for a one-time change of association," the federation said in a statement to ESPN FC. "He has not done so at this point, but this does not prevent him from playing in friendly matches such as this tournament."

My reflex is to rep this every time I see it, never mind me over here spastically repping and unrepping this post.
