There were 100,000 in the Azteca - didn't phase LDU much at all.

I would add that not only did liga did not shrink, but had it not been for some peculiar calls by the ref, we could have won it.

80k of Flu fans won't be any pressure, unless they are in the advantage. Most of the fans going to the game are casual Flu fans that probably can't even name the starting lineup.

What a play by Guerron, holy crap... that was just outstanding.

By far, the best player of the Copa.

We still have time. Liga needs to have the forwards covering. Preasure from the midfield. Manzo and Bolanos need to preasure.

This was by far the worst game of liga since second stage. Nervous players like Ambrossi cant seem to get a hold of them selves. Hopefully something changes in teh second half and we settle down. I am not sure about the line of 4, is too rigid. I wonder if they will risk going back to a line of three, and preasure a little closer to Flu's goalie.

I think Renato Gaucho is an ass, I haven't forgotten how disappointing it was to see my SPFC eliminated at the 91st minute, and I did write earlier elsewhere that with an arrogant attitude, Flu wouldn't prevail tonight. And I stand by all that.

Having said that, Flu is fighting. They are fighting for every possession and there was that foul on Washington (he didn't fall) right before Conca was fouled. I sense LDU is nervous.

LDU has surprised me in that A) they were the first to score, showing the same hunger and seriousness they should in the first leg (and in the previous playoff rounds); and, B) that they are not playing as well as I thought they could. I credit Fluminense for not shrinking after taking that goal; they are doing what they did after SPFC scored in the 2nd quarterfinals game and what they did in both matches vs. Boca Juniors: they went on the attack after giving up goals.

I'll have to see replays of the DVR to check whether Hector Baldassi did fail on some fouls vs. Fluminense.

I thought it was all over after LDU opened the scoreline, but this is shaping up to be an exciting Libertadores matchup. I won't be surprised if it goes to PKs, and if it does, I predicted in the BS Mas Sabio that Flu would win it after a 3-1 score.

Flu could well kill this off if they do not give up their offensive impetus and if LDU doesn't regain its composure. Let's see.

Hector Baldassi strikes again against Brazilian team. He is clearly anti-Brazilian, but in this case, I like it :D
