    I don't blame him.

Although he could get quite intoxicated with an Álvaro Chaves Street churrasquinho in a game day.

On the other hand, an Huevo à la Huancayna, from Rímac district streets in Lima could beat them all (lol)...

Just because of one egg?

    But I did, dude...

I even corrected myself right away (see #205) ...

Just because I momentarilly confused 'papa' with 'huevo' - after 32 years without going over there - you doubting me? :( ...

Besides the 'Papa a la H...' is served (internet refreshed my mind) with a sauce which includes 'huevos' in its composition, right?...

    Never mind.

In Lima I lived in Barranco, right at the Bajada de los Baños, precisely behind the Puente de los Suspiros - which was my old 'companion' for months.

At that time, not that many people went there ('twas right after the earthquake), so the Puente de los Suspiros - maybe the most famous touristic attraction of Lima - was entirely mine.

I met the chicks of the barrio there...

My girlfriend's name was Yoli Vizcarra, and the tough guys of Barranco were jealous because she was quite a 'jeva' and chose 'The Brazilian' to be girlfriend of  ...

At night all those peñas and people passing by my window, I was already seen as part of the population of Barranco, man...

I went to the salsatecas, to the chifas, to games at the Estádio Nacional (don't ask me, but I think a few of Sporting Crystal), drank great cuban ron at that time sold in the Chinese-owned commercial stores (groceries, food in general, alcoholic drinks, etc).

Went a lot to the Haiti (Cine Pacífico?) in order to meet the high-society niñas bién of San Isidro...

Andé mucho en los superlotados huahuas playing salsa loud in small radios.

Went to drink pisco sour at the downtown Sheraton (Othon?), very well prepared there...

And also chicha morada with the patitas at Miraflores, Barranco and Chorrillos malecón.

Respecto, mano - soy de la área :p ...
