The Schelotto Group will purchase the Crew, GBS has convinced people in Argentina that they can invest in the Crew or a legal way people with money can hide their money from the Argentina Government. It would be a legitimate way to transfer large amounts of Money to the USA from Argentina.

I'll be honest, this did cross my mind. It's not as far-fetched as one might think.

 

I'll take new, local ownership gladly. However, I find it hard to believe that this is anything of significance as we've heard no rumors or discussions. That being said, we have been quite fixated on Bobby's failures.

Maybe a local organization is buying 5% or something.

 

It's probably a stadium naming rights deal or a local addition to ownership. Either of those would be a positive development in the long run. As long as it's not Preparation H stadium or something similar.

 

So the Hunt’s are geniuses after all. They keep Robert knowing he is driving the team into the ground. They have McCullers support him time and time again to the point where it looks like there is no hope. They sell the team to new local owners; new local owners rid the team of the incompetence we have seen for the past five years. Our new local overlords are seen as saviors; this gives them a firm grace period to figure this whole sports team owner ship out.
