You’re right but $1m for a center back isn’t exactly cheap and none of them are the GII to first team approach Curt tried. Point being Sigi’s approach is very different to Curt’s but the results are the same.

I agree. Curt brought in no one and Sigi has brought in some duds. I know a lot of people don't agree with me but I think almost all of Sigi's signings were poor.

You know, the 500lb elephant in the room is Gio. He is not a DP, not even close. We can't link from back to front and it increases pressure on an already weak defense. He has to go, but no one seems to have the balls to trade him. Fire Klein, Vagenas and Sigi!

Sigi is to blame for the weak back line. Fire Sigi.

Our defense is the biggest joke in MLS and it's all Sigi's fault. When are we going to learn and actually go for a coach that can push this team to play at a higher level with more attacking flair and creativity. Sigi is not that and our form is horrendous given our talent up front.

The one good thing about Osorio is he apparently knows the proper position for Gio.......

For Gio the motivation doesn't seem the same from el tri to our club, just wait and see how the phantom injuries start showing up.

Osorio kept Gio on the bench for all but 13 minutes. I.e., Osorio knows Gio’s best position is the bench.

So Jurgen for coach and JCO as assistant? Or Jurgen for GM and JCO as coach?

With TFC struggling badly Vanney could get the sack. I can’t tell if he’s a good coach or if he rode the second best international DP in MLS history.

I think he is a good manager, but obviously the great players Toronto has helps. If you took Ibra and Alessandrini away from us, any manager would struggle and that is essentially what has happened to Toronto. Plus they have played a lot of matches due to champs league.

If Vanney is sacked, I'd like him here. I like seeing former Galaxy players succeed here.

Osorio shouldn't coach in a North American League. If he wants to get better so he can take a talented team into a 5th game of a World Cup, he needs to go to Europe.

Caleb Porter didn't get the job in Orlando. He either turned it down or was passed over. He is an instant upgrade over Sigi with a more offensive philosophy.

I may be wrong, but I just remember all of Porter's Timbers teams having a leaky defense, which is the primary problem with the Gs current squad.

“When you have a 3-1 lead, you’re hoping to get all three points. But on the other hand, getting a point away from home, it is a good thing,” head coach Sigi Schmid said. “I don’t think we’ve won here in like the last four tries. So it’s been a while so from that standpoint that’s better as well. I mean, you want to get something on the road, if we can win our games at home and tie our games on the road we’ll be okay, but this one feels a little bit different because we had a 3-1 lead.”

If that is how Sigi talks for real, to the team, then I'm done with him. He's as inspiring as a wet noodle. Oh well, I guess we should just be happy with a point on the road... we haven't won in SJ in four tries, so no point trying to get the win anyway.... blah, blah...

He should be angry as hell dropping 2 points to a bottom dweller that has 2 wins in 17 games, after charging to a 3-1 lead. Not trying to spin the lame positives.

I highly doubt Sigi talks to the players the same as the media. If he does, then that’s our biggest problem right there....
