at least it says, "Chicago Fire Soccer Club to Call..." no use in doing a rebrand announcement and move announcement at different times, right?
Guessing that comes in the winter or spring, but I'm not sure I have historical examples to back that up. Anyone remember what time of year SKC or Columbus launched their brand? I know the Union did a very soft revision of their crest and colors two seasons ago in the spring, but it was so subtle, most people didn't notice it.
Kansas City was November 17, 2010. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2010/11/18/kansas-city-rebrands-sporting-kc Columbus? I don't enough of a crap about Columbus to look it up!
They better give the 15 or so of us who are still season ticket holders first dibs. They won't, of course, but they should.
They were definitely hungover , German media tailing the team caught them out in some Old Town clubs. The manager didn't deny it at the presser either.
STHs ... now that we know the Fire are moving to SF ... will you A) Renew B) Not Renew C) Wait for details
There is a big meeting on Wednesday in terms of the rebrand and I guess the move, so a Thursday announcement would fit. Of course Wednesday's meeting is going to get ugly so I'm not sure they'll get things resolved that quickly.
Why not? Two big announcements spaced out gets people talking about your team twice instead of just once.
The Fire have sent a statement about the page that was briefly posted announcing a move to Soldier Field. #cf97 pic.twitter.com/fLFb1DHBKR— Brian Sandalow (@BrianSandalow) July 23, 2019 Well what's being a Fire fan if not for misplaced optimism?
This is my 9th season (2011-2019) not renewing my tickets, after being a season ticket holder for the first 13 years (1998-2010)
I am between B & C. I have great seats in the sky deck and they are fairly affordable. I can't imagine getting seats like that at SF and don't even want to think what the price will be. Have been a season ticket holder since day one. The last few years I have purchased tickets just out of loyalty to what once was. If N-Rod stay, that will be it for me. The asshole that is responsible for killing the Chicago Fire should just stay in New Jersey and gloat over the teams that he has destroyed in this league. I am so sick of Jersey Nelson's bullshit!
I have been listening to Taylor Swift's "You Need To Calm Down" the last 5 days and totally missed this. I'm totally calm though.
Haven't seen or heard anything about this since the leak. If there isn't a press conference. Is that a good thing? or A a thing?
No news has to be good news. If there’s no rebrand (lol fat chance) then they won’t hold a press conference to announce “no change.”
