Also, Peter Wilt posted in his thread that the Fire will have as guest players Sumed, Pilarski, and "a certain hall of famer", among others.

Is this a replay or a live exhibition?

Waldo will play. Thiago Gaucho too!

Can we have Nowak play for us too?

    This:

" watch LIVE as the Fire play the Metros in an exhibition."

on MLSnet.com suggests that they may be streaming it also.

FSW schedule shows Crystal Palace versus Fulham at 7 p.m. today. But then again, it doesn't even mention the Hall of Fame game at noon. So, who knows?

Looks like the match is being streamed by MLSnet. They've been doing clips of the incuctees.

    Match is under-way.

Re: Fire-metros hall of fame game on FSW noon monday

I do have the day off, but I think it will be on FSW later (7pm?) as well. :)

    FIRE (3-5-2):
Countess; Clanton, Gray, Perez; Bucky, Thiago, Buete, Griffin; Capano; Jaqua, Sumed.

Hey, this is great, because we'll get to see a few players in their real positions (Bucky, Griffin (left rather than right), Jaqua). Sounds like a very useful scrimmage to me.

Not going to bother with lineup for Metros. SGR, Taylor, Vaca, Arena, Brenes, Gilberto, Leitch, Stammler, Regan and Wells (gk) are in the line-up, and apparently a few non-roster call-ups.

    Celebrities to appear later. :)

Thiago now in the match for Pause. Possibly doing rolling subs. Possibly Pause was never there...yeah, I bet that's it...

Sumed saved POINT BLANK by Wells after good low cross from Jaqua.

Bucky playing well so far in his right wing spot.

SGR open in front of goal and misses.

I honestly can't pick out Thiago on the field.

He's there, trust me. He's wearing 29 with Thiago on his back. ;) I'm having trouble telling him from Bucky and Sumed at times, because they all have very dark skin and the contrast on the broadcast is pretty high. He runs a bit like Sumed, too. Thiago is playing pretty well--had a stretch with a few good runs, and he can pass, too. Bucky is doing well also.

    Yeah,he does, for now anyway.

Oh, and welcome to the boards, newbie. :D How did you get 72 posts so fast?

Griffin with a good cross, cut out.

Capano with a SICK move to spin around two guys.

Our scrubs look better than their scrubs. Maybe because they've had more pt this year...

Spoke too soon: Clanton with a terrible clearence, SGR and Bucky shield each other, Brenes smashes it home. 1-0 Scum.

DJ Countess. I really like you, so please avoid letting the door hit you on your ass when you depart for Chivas.

    HT: Fire 0-2 Metros

Two minutes later, Taylors scores. Fires in between Countess and his near post. Doesn't look good for the keeper, but the defenders could have close him down more...

Shame, because we've looked better up to that point, though the final ball hasn't been there. Too be fair, Taylor and SGR were brought in as a Metros starters this year, while we're playing a guy we cut up front...
