i've been unhappy with this guy since he "sacked" albelda and the others. a real manager would be nice. but such is life in valencia

A real manager will punish those players causing turmoil in the squad. I think you gotta give the guy a full season and see what happens. He is trying to instill discipline and this is going to take time. Give him next season and see what happens.

About time. Horrible coach for a team like Valencia.

Its the players more than anything. Koemans job was to pick a team for the Villarreal game.

    ------------Hidlebrand
    Arizmendi--Albiol--Morretti--Caneira
    -------------Marchena
    -----Baraja
    --------------------Silva
    Joaquin--------------Vicente
    --------------Villa

This teams great and i can bet when every Valencia fan saw it they fought fantastic! Koemans finally got it right!

We need to open our eye, Koeman can only do as much as this. The players arent muppets in which Koeman can control from the sideline. Once they walk onto the pitch they are playing for the club. At half time the players came out racing to get the ball. This is the work of Koemans half time team talk, something he is known for. We saw it against Atletico and we saw it last night. The players can play under Koeman but if we get the goal then that changes everything. The way we pass the ball it seems our confidence is very high. But when we don't have the ball we act like we are blind.

A goal changes everything for us.
Look what happened against Zaragoza. That game was beyond us at one point. Then pops up Zigic and at last the team have life in them. We got the second and only luck stopped us getting the winner late on.

then why doesn't he start zigic?????

    wtf.
he's taken a good team to bad, destroyed the morale, and mentally floored the players. ********er.

Not to mention, there's no reason we should even stick with him, even if better things are to come. He was never a great coach to begin with...

Should be playing with 2 strikers upfront. Both men are highly talented not to start.

Surely hes on borrowed time after yet another below far performance and 1-0 defeat to Almeria.

with liverpool's interest in aimar, i hope they get them so i have a new team to watch on matchdays.

the almeria game was terrible, while it looks good on paper, tactically an empty shell of the valencia that it used to be. lacked creativity as usual which had been a problem since aimar left, (sorry silva never really filled the no.21 boots for me).

we used to be needing just a new playmaker, and defender.
with albeda's problem, adding a leader to the list.
koeman needs to be sacked, not for being unable to get a win.
my biggest peeve with him is he doesn't play to the players strength.
watching joaquin struggling on the left yesterday, arizmendi as a RB (again.), marchena in MF when he clearly had proper mf players available.
I could accept a poor coach with weak tactics. But i cannot accept a coach who doesn't understand his players.

and yes. even ranieri did better.

Whehe, Koeman is hated everywhere he came.. Vitesse, Ajax, Benfica, PSV and currently Valencia. He chosed for the money, but he will get the end of his carreer. Koeman (translated: Cowman) is famous for destroying teams.

Porky, Fat Red, Cowman aka Ronald Koeman, please retire before you destroy more great teams..
