Well, they improved a lot in the second half to the point to have England against the ropes.. We tried, but England have excellent defense and an excellent goalkeeper

    Congrats to England. Valid champions.

And the style and flare this team played with is better than the Senior team in many ways.

My question now is how are people in England treating this championship?
IS there dancing and singing in the streets?

    Just barely enthusiastic golf clapping?

Shock they finally won a FIFA tournament? :p:D

Because they try to attack and don't have as much pressure as well. Just a nice composed team with attacking intent.

Golf clapping and a feel good feeling inside. I doubt a whole lot of people care.

That is one of the reasons why I was hoping Venezuela would have found a way to win because their country would have appreciated it a little bit more. But they are a baseball nation so I don't know how much more.

Not a matter of Baseball/football thing... When "La Vinotinto" is playing, everyone watch the game...

If we didnt celebrated that much its because other things... I suppose you know what i mean...

For us there is a situation in here that is ten thousands more important than a football championship...

As Dudamel said in the Semifinals post-game "Today a 17 years old guy bring us this happiness.... Yesterday a 17 years old guy died in the demostration... Please, President, stop it with the guns"

Very noble of you sir and very gracious. I thought you're guys were going to get that goal in the second half which to be honest, I think you deserved. Really liked the little lad that came on and changed the your attacking threat, Sotaldo, who looks like his got a great future as I'm sure many of your guys have as there is some great talent there. Good luck on your future :)

Congrats to England for sure. Deserved winners.

Side note, does anyone know of a team that has gone to 3 consecutive penalties like Uruguay has just done?

Congratulations to England - I'm glad the English can celebrate a World Cup, given all the horrible stuff perpetrated in their country in recent time by retrograde, barbaric miscreants.

A salute to Venezuela, whose very good and brave U-20 team came very close to bringing their embattled people - one suffering under pathetic and idiotic socialist ideology - a moment of celebration.

And to anybody who defended the racist Uruguayan players' horrifyingly disrespectful attitude in South Korea, with the slant-eye gesture: you're just as bad as those ignorant charrua boys.

You're the ignorant my friend. Valverdes celebration was for a friend. Which he quickly apologised for after and explained what it meant. And the group photo was a different gesture which the players did after every game including the South American qualifying championship last year, gesturing that they're crazy. It wasn't a slant eye gesture. Inform yourself better
