We'll just have to wait and see. :)

Anyone else use Gamefly.com? I just signed up and am curious how long I'll have to wait to rent it.

Well, from the demo, it looks like EA is finally getting it right (player creation, league/tournament creator, still no stadium creator-- thats in TCM which I dont even think is availible in USA)

I'll definitely be waiting outside GameStop on the morning of the 15th :)

    Re: Fifa 2005

From the preview it looks great, EA i think is finally getting it right (player creator, league/tournament creator) but stadium creator is still in TCM, which I tried last year and was terrible and confusing (although it might have been because Football Fusion didn't work on my computer becauase I was playing the USA version of FIFA)

Also, I hope there are variable resolutions...I don't run a powerful machine and the demo was choppy on mine due to the fact it was probably running 800x600x32/High as a default.

Whatever they do, they should get rid of the freaking K-League and put the Greek League back in the game.....i mean i know not many people care about the Greek league, but i'm sure everyone cares less about the freaking K-League.

I'd be happy if they would actually get all the player position on our national team right. Soccer may not be popular here but this video game is and they could take the time to put more than a handle full of our players in the game and get their position and stats right.

You can change the resloution, I played the DEMO on my Forum Checking Machine (aka Computer) at 1204x768 and it ran pretty smoth, but i prefer to play video games on PLaystation 2. I just bought a big screen tv.

Couple of questions: First, what is the release date for the game, and also, what websites can we go to to see a preview of it. Thanks.

It always looks great. That's what FIFA does- look great. Gameplay is their problem.

    Re: Fifa 2005

People have been promising that the gameplay has been improved......

I'm getting a demo of Pro-Evo 4 (WE8) tomorrow, then on Friday, Fifa comes out.

I know ProEvo is going to crush Fifa this year, but if the latter can get the gameplay right, then it may be worth it......:)

    Re: Fifa 2005

I'm glad to see they finally brought back the tournament and player editor. I remember with FIFA 2002 I had to create the WC since it wasn't a choice (Senegal wasn't available so I used Holland). I plan on buying FIFA and WE this year and then I'll compare.

past versions of the game have included Polonia Warszawa, Legia Warszawa and Wisla Krakow. I doubt anyone other than you and I care about the entire league though.

    Re: FIFA 2005 (nmr)

I played fifa 2005 last week at some game tour thing at our college. Not worth getting imo. If you want the new leagues and new features get it, but gameplay wise just a little bit better then 2004.

They didn't even fuken put Korea NT in it so they have to put K-league at least even though it suks...

The reason they are putting K-league is because nearly 1/4 people playing this game is Korean so they do care about K-league more than greek league.
