im in Pinecrest. Where is that? I've looked everywhere for a colombian place and there's nothing, closest thing is a venezuelan fast food truck thats in a church parking lot up the road from me.

yes.... after thinking about it more and more, he should've absolutely since Cuadrado was already taken off.

James had zero help in the transition part of the game as well as competent ball handlers(subjective view lol)

Got to lift the spirits up and hopefully our guys re-focus and coaches admit to their mistakes.

Winner takes all for the next two games.

IF James is going to start, Quinterro or Cuadrado needs to be there as well. James can't move the ball without someone of skill and vice versa.

    My early overreaction changes:
    Ospina
Arias - Mina - Davinson(I believe in him) - Mojica(this guy will cause trouble for the opp. IMO)
    Uribe(if healthy or w.e) - Lerma(give him another crack)
    James - Quinterro/Cuadrado
    Muriel - Falcao

Personally I rather Falcao be a super sub but that'll never happen.

I would not mind seeing that lineup at all.

A lot of changes must be made. Not only to sit down the guys who sucked but also to just bring in some fresh legs and new ideas. Most of the team was dead tired after La roca's paper and scissors blunder.

If we do not see at least 3 changes minimum I will not be pleased.

Both teams are coming into this one saying they should have done better in the last match and stupid mistakes cost them the result.

Hopefully Pekerman's adjustments are better than theirs.

There are some huge disappointments in this team and I can't imagine what Pekerman has to be thinking. Starting from the back, that CB pairing of Murillo/Davidson was one of the worse performances I've ever seen. I don't know which one to send home and playing with 3 in the back is now irresponsible considering what we saw Tuesday.

With that, I think eliminating both for Game 2 would be a bit too much, CZapata should be commanding that line based on NT experience. Keep Arias and Mojica and bring in Matheus with Lerma as your MF. On the wings, Cuadrado in at best a 2nd half sub, so bring in Muriel for counters. James in the middle with Borja and Falcao on top. There is no game #3 to win. This is our championship game!

    Arias -----Zapata---Davidson-- Mojica

    ---------Matheus -----Lerma

    Muriel---------------------------------

    ---------------------James

    ---Borja --------------------Falcao

For what's it worth, in the 1998 World Cup, France lost Zidane to a red card in the 2nd game of the tournament. He missed the 3rd game and first knockout round game. They had a decent WC finish ;)

Roca is eligible to play against Senegal it seems.

James and Barrios do need to be mindful of their yellow cards though next game.

Does anyone have any idea as to the injury/health status of Zapata, Abel and anyone else who may be injured??

I'm sorry, it is not Pinecrest, is Cutler Bay:

    Macita's Restaurant & Bakery
18533 S Dixie Hwy, Cutler Bay, FL 33157

Another place we love but haven't been in a while is Mondongo's in Doral, like 87 Av and NW 25th Street.

The main disappointments were The Sanchez and Murillo. The rest of the team played reasonably well given the circumstances. Hoping that most players are available and in good health, here's what I hope for on Sunday:

    Arias -----Zapata---Davidson-- Mojica
    --------------Barrios
    -----Uribe-----------------Lerma
    --------------James/Quintero
    -------------------------------------Muriel
    -------------Falcao

    Subs: Cuadrado, Quintero and Borja

Will he start Sanchez against Senegal if we beat Poland and dominate. Wonder how loyal he is to his guy.

Agree with this lineup although I think I would've put Barrios for Lerma. didn't like Jefferson's game too much and Barrios in general was OK. but I like your formation in general, just need to see if James is completely fit. If not, he musn't start.

Pekerman will never play Uribe with Lerma or Barrios. He will play two defensive mids. If Pekerman doesn't start Lerma and Barrios against Poland, I will change my avatar pic for a pic of Rocky Balboa for the rest of my life.

Barrios and Lerma are both in my lineup.

I envision a line of 4 on defense with Barrios as the main defensive mid with progressively more freedoms for Lerma, Uribe and Muriel.

    Uribe—-Barrios——Lerma——Muriel

Off course it is perfectly possible that Cuadrado will be in instead of Uribe.

Think about it, this is a revamped line but the functions are pretty much the same that Cuadrado—Sanchez—Lerma—Izquierdo had in the previous game.

i like the mix of Uribe-Barrios-Lerma-Muriel but with Roca suspended and Abel injured/unavailable - who does that leave us with to come off the bench? I am thinking we'll see Uribe-Barrios or Uribe-Lerma but not all three.

i really hope we see Muriel or Borja before Bacca in any capacity on Sunday.

Cutler Bay is still do able for me, Im going to look into it because the closest places to me are on like Bird or Flagler or something

Something like this is probably what we should live or die by the next two matches.
It is close to what we had against France when we got a good result.
If Muriel does not play someone in the media has to ask Pekerman straight up why not.
