FIFA 15 is probably going to be announced within the next month or so, and I wanted to get your opinion on features or bug fixes you'd like to see in the new version.

    1) Lofted through balls are overpowered beyond belief.

This really ruins any most online play for me -- where games become a cat-and-mouse version of who can get the timing right for their lofted through ball. This year has done a much better job of dealing with the midfield, however, bypassing it with a lofted through ball is generally easier than trying to play ball to feet.

    2) Player selection improvement

When passing to an area with two players in the same area, 9 times out of 10 it will choose the wrong player to pick up the ball (this happens a lot of through balls, or layoffs). It will usually choose the closer player, even if there is a better option, like a player running onto the ball. This also happens a lot with offside players, and there's no way to have them ignore the ball.

    3) Player AI Improvement

Similar to above, but there are many situations where the AI is just plain silly. One is after corner is cleared, the entire midfield just stares at the ball until someone gains possession. AI will pass around the box until an opening is found, and will continue to do this forever -- the "script" they've created for scoring goals needs much more variety and the AI needs to take more chances overall.

    4) Fix manual controls

Manual controls are really strange. Sometimes a tap will have your player kick the ball 2 feet, in other situtations a tap becomes a really long pass. Through ball and standard passing is completely different -- it is very difficult to thread a through ball using the through ball button.

    5) More stadiums!

    Enough said.

    6) Move online modes to at least semi-manual controls

I will probably get shtick for this, but I really think manual makes the game much more fun. I think EA should really try to move players in that direction -- even the casual player after 5 tries will get hang of it.

-Offsides interpretation...calls offside even though the ineligible player is not going to be in the play.

-More stadiums and stadium ambience is a must..though it must be tough with all the leagues in the game..someone always gets slighted.

-Release DLC tailored to certain leagues. Expand commentary as in less redundancy and a few more language options (DLC it)

-Expand Concacaf presence in the game..I know Canada sucks but its a viable market)...

-Add the rest of the US soccer pyramid.

-Don't go too crazy with the "I believe" chant implementation

    Abso-friggin'-lutely!

Its exclusion from the PS4 (as well as the Xbox One) version of FIFA 14 made it far and away my least-played FIFA game that I can remember. :(

    1. Champions League licensing
    2. Europa League licensing
    3. Copa Libertadores licensing
    4. Online custom leagues (so you can actually play a season with your friends controlling other teams, perhaps a way to sell/buy and trade players between the teams?) (AI can take up rest of teams of a league or just make it smaller league)
    5. Presentations that fit TV better
    6. Defenders that aren't f*ing idiots
    7. Ghost penalties gone
    8. For Ultimate Team i'd like to see a way to implement custom badges and/or kits as well as national team kits and badges

i have written essays on this. haha.

off the top of my head...
    -handicaps
-positional changes (so limited, i wanna see RB's be able to play RM)
-lack of pace differential. mertesacker may not be fast, but his sprint is about as fast as ronaldo walking. that's just flat out inaccurate.

Finess shots from center field going in...
So many lag issues in online matches... Some games are unbearable
If I'm playing with a dude from Brazil and I'm in Canada, there should be no reason that the game becomes slow as crap...
Holding A / RB all game being a viable defending tactic...
Auto move assistance is either too accurate or not accurate enough. Needs tweaking
    Player switching needs tweaking

I'll come back after I've played a game to list more

A full international mode with licensing and authentic WCQ and continental tournaments. I passed on FIFA 14 (I usually get them every 2-3 year) so I have 13, but I just turn down all the national team offers. I guess they probably avoid this so they can keep moving the Euro and WC games that they put out on a quadrennial basis. However, I'd be willing to pay just as much for an add-on that incorporates these, all the national teams, and authentic qualifying campaigns into Manager mode.

Just saw that having EA Access gets you 6 hours of early access, for the 5 days of early release.

Last year you got the whole time to play - what a bummer!

Online seasons is the ultimate wish. We have it in Madden, the (old) NCAA games, so why not Fifa? I guess it's hard with how many leagues and players there are.

That, and USL teams. And MLS stadiums.
