On what system? I thought the 360 version was a massive improvement. Not nearly as many teams and leauges, but the gameplay really grew up.

i have given up since 04', 07 isn't that great either, 6-2 score lines in these games against your friends isn't realistic.

  8. Not for nothing....but i think that Fabio Cannavaro should be on the cover of the game WORLDWIDE...being that he was the world player of the year in 06....and the italian national team won the world cup. and if anyone disagrees with me, maybe they are right. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE COVER OF FIFA 07. I love how noone recognizes Italy...ANYWHERE.

    P.S. RONALDINHO IS GARBAGE!!!

Off the pitch, Italian football has lots of problems, but ON the pitch, it is the beautiful game.

FIFA 07 does not suck. Well see here is the deal: The Xbox360 version is completely different from the ps2 and xbox version. The 360 version was good.

FIFA 08 will be made by the people who did the Xbox360 version and it doesn't suck. There aren't too many 6-2 games or easy goals from 35 yards out.

With a few tweaks FIFA 08 could be on par with Pro Evo Soccer.

here is some video from FIFA 2008:

Wahey, it is coming out on PS2 after all. And yeah, it's probably gonna be Rooney and Ronaldinho on the cover, not sure how long the contracts are for though.

Are you joking? FIFA 07 is way better than 06. The only think 06 had better was the soundtrack.

Wikipedia's FIFA 08 page lists the Australian A-League as one of the new leagues, but no others announced so far.

I'd guess they'd continue expanding the leagues with the teams in Rest of the World, so my money is on the Greek league and the Czech league likely being added

Argentina or South Africa also a possibility for the other one but I'd love to see more Eastern European teams and especially more from the Ukraine and Russia. Playing within the Russian league would be super-cool.

Can someone post a list of teams if they hear anything?

It would be pretty stupid if they added the A-league or the Greek league but not the Argentine league

    YES, FINALLY ON THE WII!.
Me and some friends were talking about how it would be sick if they made the Wii Version into some virtual soccer thing. For example, letting you strap a motion sensor to each of your feet, while you hold the contoller for throw ins and any off-the ball runs or tactical changes. It's probably gonna be much simpler in 08' though.

Hopefully they'll add the Argentine league and start including the South American competitions, (the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana) just like they include the Uefa and Champions League, in the Career mode.

It would be pretty awesome to be called up as National Team Manager and include the Club World Cup as well.

Hopefully the 3 new leagues are A-League, Argentina and Greece. Would be cool if it was Russia too but Argentine league is long overdue.

WTF?? wikipedia is saying that the irish league will be in fifa 08...o well, its pretty new...give it a face...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_08#_note-0

ok, so fifa 07 had advertised as 510 teams, fifa 08 advertised as 620 teams...

    8 from australia
    12 from ireland

20 teams there, bringing the total to 530 teams...

the argentine league should be next with 20 teams (total of 550 teams)

if things go as planned, there will be 70 more national teams in 08!

post here first if u find anymore info...

Do we know whether the 360 version will get the full compliment of leagues?
