I'll take anyone (unless I don't know you), anyplace (unless its not going down at my crib or somewhere close to it), anytime (unless its between Monday and Friday from 9am to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 4pm) :D... but aside from those conditions I WILL KICK YOUR ASS BUDDY!!!!

I am the NEW INTERNET TOUGH GUY!!!

I only talk shit behind a keyboard!!!!

SO what you gonna do brother, when these 12 inch pythons go wild on you!!!!!!

it would seem that way, wouldn't it?

aaaaaanyway ... if you need to know how to clear your cache, this is what i've found from the MS tech support site.
the maintenance only takes a few seconds. i turned off my console, just to be safe, turned it back on, and it's good as gold (knock wood). i was finally able to play the next scheduled game (UEFA Cup), taking my team (Chester) to a draw with Fiorentina.

A regular keyboard warrior you are, then.

I wish I had one of the next-gen consoles to play this game on. It's utter crap on PC and so wonderful, probably better than PES on PS3/Xbox360. Tragic!

hehe, yeah, i like to take a div2 team all the way up through the prem. i picked chester this go-around because the philly MLS team's stadium will be located in the city of chester about 15 minutes outside the city.

i've read that the Home Depot Center is in the game ... is it only on certain consoles? it doesn't seem to be available to me (on xbox 360). is it unlockable, something you have to purchase?

wow, nor is it in the PS3 version (according to wikipedia at least).

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_08#Stadiums

according to that list, there are 18 stadia, out of 42 total, that are not on the 360 nor PS3.

    it's a travesty. it's a sham. it's a mockery. it's a travishamockery. :p

and while i'm yapping about stadia ... in previous releases, when you upgraded your stadium manager to provide more seating, etc, it would change the actual stadium "model" in-game to reflect the size increase. does that no longer occur?

I still play online with PS3.

My last 20 games have been with German second division side Gruenther Furth, and i have had the joy of taking down Man U, Chelsea and Barca several times with them.

It gets bigger on the PC. But on the PC, the stadium is always full. I have heard that 360/PS3 is set where the crowds can be sparse sometimes.

there does tend to be a fair amount of empty seats if the team's not doing so well, or if you're playing a not-so-favorable opponent. i don't know what 'science' the game has behind it, how exactly it determines a full-house or not, but it's a nuance to the game that adds to the realism factor.

    Oh, speak English, please! :p
    Isn't it Greuther Fürth?
I'd like to see the looks of Camp Nou when it's half empty, if it has the signings like in real life.

I really like 08. I'm in my 4th season with Swansea and were in the championship. One thing that really makes me made is the stadiums. For example if Swansea are playing a leauge game there at a stadium in like Argentina or something, which makes it really unrelalistic.

Also I think Eddie Johnson is overrated on 08, because he is tearing it up for me, he's been the leading scorer almost every season. I'm playing on pro with 6 minutes half but I think i'm going to move up the difficulty.

I play on the ps3. I got it for Christmas so i'm still not that burnt out but I have decreased my playing lol. However, Euro 08 looks really cool so I may get that also.

Does anyone else have problems with wireless? I always have a horrible connection like 10% so it makes it frusterating.

What gets me about Fifa 08, is that if you play a cup, you start in the 2nd round rather than the 3rd, and the final isn't at Wembley, even though Wembley is in the game. This is really sloppy.

i've just about given up on FIFA 08, and my xbox 360 for that matter. for a little while there the game would freeze up for no apparent reason at unspecified times ... during a match, in the menus, during the startup screens. did a little bit of research and found that clearing the cache make everything happy again (from post #200).

well, it's back, and with a vengeance ... it'll freeze up during the console start up screen (not even getting into the dashboard), and on those rare occasions i can access that, it'll freeze on the FIFA 08 screen and not let me get into the game itself.

i've found that clearing the cache MAY contribute to corrupting your profile. are you kidding me? so, i deleted my old profile, without deleting the saved games, etc, and created a new one. i don't have "ownership" of the saved info yet, but as i still cannot play FIFA 08, i wonder if something is screwed up with the saved game files.

holy effing frustrating. anybody have a similar problem?
