    Me neither ….

Watching DC United games is like watching a 3 legged mule carry a washing machine up a mountain in 100 degree heat. I'm still rooting for the mule and I celebrate if he makes it … but it sure is painful to watch.

No Blas Perez, but Akindele is back (Gold Cup).
Almost seems like 3 points is out of the question. Good game to get Halsti minutes with Kitchen, they need to figure that out.

This season has worn me out as a fan. Part of that has everything to do with other circumstances--I just don't have the time or the mental energy free that I normally have. But part of it is just the team itself, as well as the overkill of so many games earlier this season.

    I just don't give a ******** about DC United.

EDIT: That said, I'm sure I'll be watching. By myself. Well, the dog usually sits with me.

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I even referenced him playing against Mexico yesterday. I shouldn't be trusted with the internet

Edit: I mean I referenced it yesterday not that he played Mexico yesterday..oh I'll just quit while I'm behind

I want to rep and smite this post. You are telling the truth when it come to DCU and their recent form, but I'm ready for another DCU game despite the fact that we've just enjoyed one heck of a summer of soccer with USWNT WWC games, USMNT Gold Cup games, USMNT U-21 games, Copa Liberadora games, and finally DCU and other MLS games. With all those options, I'm not as excited about DCU playing this weekend due to oversaturation, but it's still the one I'll looking forward to watching the most.

I agree with you about the overkill earlier in the season. I just checked the schedule and it's been 24 days since I've seen DCU score a goal. So my feeling is more like ,"DC Who?"

    I don't know
    Club:
    DC United
Starting XI: Dykstra; Korb, Boswell, Birnbaum, Kemp; DeLeon, Kitchen, Arnaud, Doyle; Rolfe, Arrieta
Available subs: Worra, Halsti, Jeffrey, Coria, Opare, Mishu, Aguilar

Honestly, Why go and get the (relatively) expensive and technically skilled Europeans if they never play?

Really disappointed that Ben has clearly stated (with this line up) his preference for turnover machine Arnaud over Halsti. After the break it was my hope we would see the "real" line up. Unfortunately I guess this is it.

I called it from day 1. The evidence is staggering. They don't know how to identify what they want in the foreign market and they're even more incapable of using them once they get here …

And I'm tired of blaming it on the lack of money. Look at Dallas with a smaller budget they have players like Fabian Castillo, Mauro Diaz and Blas Perez.
