sounds like someone is insecure that the suwons fans are going to out number FC Seouls at home. Sad that we have the best team and the best fans...

    Hah,

It'll be settled tomorrow. I don't recall FC Seoul beating Suwon last season. I do remember them getting eliminated at PK's last July, by Suwon, however :) DCUNITED has a big mouth (which is good for fellatio) and maybe he'll know his Nanjido Trash role.

    :):)

    May the best team win.

Well if he is good at giving fellatio then I believe he would fit in perfect on the FC Seoul squad...

After seeing a Korean sports paper's article today, i came to know that "Senol" means "happy" and "Gunes" does "sun" in English.

Well, maybe not the best team. But we definitely got the best fans. We were louder than you guys the whole game and if that game was played in Suwon, there wouldn't have been half of the FC Seoul fans there. Of course, fans don't win games now do they...

I wouldn't neccessarily say best fans overall, as there have been a few unsavoury incidents involving the Grandbleu the past few years. Perhaps unavoidable given how large the group has grown, but they could do without the random beatings outside the Daegu stadium or dafties setting fire to GS advertising banners inside the Seoul WC stadium during the match. "Minority" and all that, but still not too impressive.

They're definitely loud, definitely colourful and definitely turn out in good numbers home and away. I met loads of great Suwon fans when I went to pretty much every game in 2004... don't go to Suwon that often these days as (a) it's far away, (b) they're generally dreadfully dull under Cha and (c) Zoran's not there anymore, but I still go to the odd game and get offered plenty of beer by the same folk from time to time :)

That article is Gune's latest interview with Turkey's Lig TV which is translated into Korean.

Maybe you will be able to watch in Turkish on Lig TV.

Gunes loves Seaweed. :D He has never done two things in his life.

    1. Meet with the press often like he's doing it now in Korea
    2. Eat Rice

But he started eating rice thanks to Korean Seaweed :D Maybe he enjoys eating as KimBab.

LOL, he also said FC Seoul would be one of the title contenders in the Turkish League Top 5 (I know he said that to inject belief to his squad), but his intentions are fascinating as a Manager. He's definitely a broad minded coach.

He also mentioned his aspiration on sending a lot of his FC Seoul players to the Korean NT. He said when at the end of the Season, KFA hands out the award for the best K-League Coach, he said they should not only consider the season's top finisher's coach as the best coach, but also the number of players a club can send to the National Team.

He has also hinted that he did some historical research, and found out that Turkey shares similar racial roots to Korea. This is a statement most Koreans know.

    Mate ,
    thank you for the link.
''10 minute ago i watched video at fc.seoul official site about it''

its interesthing and nice. Senol Gunes saying things about KNT,K League, media, rice etc

actualy i know what he mendtioned about it.
    and, i recommended to you,
read aswell, his asssitant coach view of Korea.
Its just amazing stuff they mentioned.
A specialy Seref Cicek(read at fc.seoul official page interview) mentioned that, he become loved Korean Food.
and, he said, Senol Gunes thinks same aswell.
and he say; we dont eat Turkish food in Korea.
because, Korean foot very delicious and we eat too many fish, rice with green(?) etc.

imo, thats very nice. to see Senol Gunes and assistand coachs loved Korean Food.

They did mentioned life style etc about Korea aswell.

its interesthing to learn for Turkish people to know about it.

    @

I don't know if it's injecting belief to his squad, but it's not like the Turkish league is a top european league. I think we underestimate our k-league clubs sometimes, i think it could fare decently against teams from mid-level european leagues.

and that kimbap pic is making me hungry. :D
