These first games of the season are always tricky. Not sure how our youngsters will react to the immense pressure of the champions league. Roma will also be under scrutiny since they are expected to easily beat us according to the pundits. :D

Wow they really think they are going to push us over that easily? I thought we has a little bit more respect then that lol.. Like I can expect a Bayern, Barca, or Real team to think like that.. but Roma?? lol. I think it will be a great game and can go either way. Like Vic said, these early games are tricky.

Tough game but we look like a team that has "Garra" and that is important

Hopefully we play more possession based and Finish our chances. Against Rio we had 50-50 posse and we won 3-1 so it's good that we scored that many considering.......but watching the game it could of been 5-1 also Andre Silva was extremely lucky against RA with his penalty being saved and then scoring on the rebound

Wondering if Brahimi takes part in this one?

We won the game but we didn't play that well.

Our midfield is still a work in progress.

Let's go boys...big game today with the Dragão to be rocking.

Need to be on point this game. Luckily we have a great core and I'm convinced we have a great team

Hopefully the defense proves its worthy to be a good pairing

    VAMOS PORTO

I don't know what to make of this game. Not very confident, but...

    Our starting 11:

Iker Casillas, Maxi, Marcano, Felipe, Alex Telles, Danilo, Herrera, André André, Otávio, Adrián López e André Silva.

The back 4 make me nervous. No "patrao" back there.

Marcano has impressed me this pre-season.

He's the closest thing we got to a patrao.

Maxi needs to bring his A game today.

Against Rio Ave he was awful. Horribly bad.

I just don't think Roma has that good of a team this year. Truth be told we don't even know what kind of a team we have because our coach was straight garbage last year. Where are you guys watching the game btw? I am at work so I am wondering if I can stream it somewhere?

    Why does he worry you?

I had high hopes for him. I actually have a soft spot for Mexican players but I just don't see him as a quality player.
