Damn no Semedo and no Dembele, why is that?

 

no Dembele makes sense since he still isn't fully fit and he can make more of an impact off the bench with his speed running at a tired defence.

and Semedo is one card away from a suspension so he's probably being rested for the visit of R.Sociedad this weekend.

 

i can't wait to see Young and Jones dealing with Messi, Coutinho, and Alba

 

I really hope Coutinho delivers the goods today. Can't be having more games where we have to nitpick some good moments in order to justify his price tag. Though he's been better in the last few outings, I miss the Coutinho who came to Barca and hit the ground running.

 

I keep waiting for Coutinho to play well for Barca but it's like waiting for Godot, he never turns up.

While we surely need him out there today, hopefully well rested and putting in a much better performance than in the first leg (though he did have the lovely hockey assist had Suarez scored the own goal), I really hope that Busquets can avoid getting a yellow tonight. But you know at some point he will tackle someone from behind to stop a counter-attack and take out the person too, he does it in his sleep, please hope the ref is mindful of his card situation and merciful too.

And I hope the same for Ashley Young, and Semedo & Matic if they come on as subs. No one should miss the semifinal first leg for 3 yellows short of a truly dangerous and reckless challenge.
