Re: The hell with it! Well, That would help solve the schedule problem. Both teams have this game + home league + Pre-Pre Libertadores.
Morelia, Pachuca to meet 18 September in Champions Cup Final The final of the 2002 CONCACAF Champions Cup will be played on 18 September at Estadio Azul in Mexico D.F., matching a pair of Mexican clubs, CA Monarcas Morelia and Pachuca CF. Morelia reached the finals when Kansas City Wizards of the USA managed a just 1:1 tie with in the second leg of their FC Champions Cup semifinal series, giving the Mexican side the series 7:2 on aggregate. Pachuca meanwhile, posted a 2:0 victory over LD Alajuelense of Costa Rica in the second leg of their semifinal series at Estadio Hidalgo, enabling them to overcome a one-goal deficit after the first leg and clinch a spot in the final. Originally scheduled to be a home and away series, the 2002 Champions Cup final is being played as one game at the request of the two clubs. 2002 FC Champions Cup - Final 18.09.2002: Mexico, D.F.; Estadio Azul (20:30) CA MONARCAS MORELIA - PACHUCA CF
CONCALAUGH has just declared that neither Pachuca nor Morelia will go to the World Club Cup. "They will play for the honor of being the top Concaca club" And then they wonder why MFL clubs don't really care about the TFC toy cups.
