    OGC Nice it is!
certainly a smaller club and a league of lower profile

    yet it makes sense:
    his mother tongue
young players he can work with (and which he can improve)
nice weather + seaview (in Gladbach fishpondview at best)
good stadium (venue of upcoming EC)
Euroleague next year (I really hope we gonna qualify for CL ;-)
and most of all: expectations that aren't that high plus a more relaxed atmosphere in the club than at a European top-club (for my liking working with stars & demanding club officials is just something Favre never was made for)
Swiss tabloid BLICK is talking of a panic-reaction, but I think it's not
    gonna follow how it's going

now it's obvious to me: there are no bad feelings between Borussia and Favre (clubpresident Königs explicitly confirmed this weeks ago) and he didn't leave because he thought he was too big for Gladbach

    good luck Monsieur!

edit: and he's not making any Bundesliga-opponent better! very well behaved & respectable ;-)

My only gripe is that Hatem Ben Arfa is leaving Nice, he would've really thrilled under Lucien as his new Raffael.
