And so we're outta here. It's been a long three seasons, and it's had it's highs and lows along the way. We're proud to be going up with 100+ points in the season. That's a total that has "Champions" written all over it. As so often before, we fans had to travel to Carlisle to see promotion confirmed. Typical Charlton. We couldn't do it on our own doorstep, could we..? No... not us..

We came down from the Championship three years ago in a pit of despair, and suffered the disappointment of a play off defeat to a team that is now only just coming up from League Two, and we had to swallow watching Millwall go up ahead of us. That hurt.

But on the plus side, we've now got a very impressive manager in Chris Powell, a budding team that is looking very competent and should at least consolidate a Championship place next season, and from there on.... who knows..!!

Good luck to everybody we leave behind. Wishing you all the best for your campaigns next season. Never lose the faith. Best wishes.
