Speaking of which, I just noticed that Vorm is the same price as Stekelenburg. Stek out; he did not have a good time at Roma, and WC2010 seems increasingly like an anomaly in the career of an otherwise average keeper. SQUAD CHANGE: Stekelenburg out Vorm in
Well if Bego plays against United, City, Chelsea, or Arsenal Im putting in a keep whose playing against a lesser squad so I disagree
Meh, each his own. What you *might* lose against bigger teams you gain in a better quality midfielder or striker.
I just feel its better incase one plays against a shit team so you can get a possible clean sheet and guaranteed positive points
I couldn't find anyone I really viewed as significant upgrades for the extra 1.0 mil getting a crap backup keeper would yield. Sticking with my current team.
Trust me, I get where your coming from. That's the same tactic I used to use 4 years ago on FPL, then I learned that there is no such thing as guaranteed points. I used to do that with my defenders, get some defenders from bigger teams because law of averages they play against shittier opponents but then you realize not many games end 0-0 1-0 or even 2-0. It's always 2-1 2-2 1-1 1-2. As I said each his own. You never know it might work for you. The game really is just a numbers game.
You have an expensive defensive line. I would drop the value of one of the defenders. Drop a goalie to pick up an extra 1 mil and then with the +2 I would pick a better midfielder then Dembele. You can pick up Lennon which would be a +/- 50 point difference over all.
I think biggest danger zone position wise for a team is midfield for Chelsea. So many midfielders and so many youngsters. Very difficult to get a clear sense of who will prevail until it's like week 3 or something.
Yeah I was debating on if I wanted to get De Bruyne, Oscar and a couple others but didnt want to screw myself over when the season starts
I'm going with De Bruyne, for now. Goal scorer. Young. Plus he's been bought by Chelsea since '12. He's my joker card. I hope he pans out but I might have to drop him after first week depending on how Chelsea play. But I have Mata just in case. If Mata doesn't start first game of the season that's going to be red flags.
Do you have to have your players in positions? For example I have Kompany as a fullback but does it matter?
Made a few changes. But i'm taking a risk on Wolfswinkel.. He did good at sporting but EPL and Portuguese league is very different.. I could've had Lukaku but idk what Mourinho is going to do with him yet so ill wait and see.
