We have one every year... this year? What's the interest level? I have picked my team (Potomac Highlanders, of course), but it's more fun with folks you regularly communicate with.
I've been playing since Beckerman and Rimando were with Miami Fusion, and this is my least-favorite interface.
Here's a change I dislike: the substitutions if/when players did not play used to be automatic, but aren't any longer. You have to manually change them before the start of a game, which is fine if you have all day every day to watch lineups, but otherwise stinks. They are getting less and less amenable to serious but casual players.
We bagged the whole thing several weeks ago; the changes made it less fun. I have played all season every season since 2001, and my wife since 2003, but no more.
I completely understand. I adjust my lineup but do not manage past that. It does automatic substitutions from the bench, which is fine. But, it also allows substitutions up to game time of individual players. So, if you notice a player that you thought was starting is not actually starting you can make a quick substitution. That's crappy for more casual players such as myself. I'm sure I'll let it go soon. I want fantasy sports to be fun, not a job.
