Hows this for irony. Kevorkian is dead

I know he is controversial. I saw his philosophy was spot on but his methodology was unfortunate.

It would only be ironic if he requested to be hooked up to machines to keep him alive.

Is he the first of the Jackass crew to go? It's almost surprising they've stuck around considering what they put themselves through.

Even Steve-O with his crazy drug addictions beat him.

I'm a bit saddened because Dunn always seemed the most normal and laid back out of all of them.

i didn't see this earlier, but I actually went to high school with an Eagleburger... he seemed just fine with it... I think he focused on the "eagle" portion of his name as he was a basketball player...

Predictable. Wish we could have kept her alive long enough to make a few more albums. Good voice.

And somewhere, someone who plays a celebrity death pool is about to get a .... very small payout.

I really love her Back to Black album (listening right now in memoriam). Very sad story of self destructiveness.

Sad ending to a very sad life. I guess she'll get legendary status now. Her record company possibly rejoicing.

Legendary status? I'm not sure about that... We're not talking Janis Joplin or Kurt Cobain here.

Though come to think of it, she does have her age in common with those two...

Everyone who puts Amy Winehouse with gods like Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Janis Joplin can go OD as well. It's horrifying that her name can even be used in the same post as one with those legends. I'm sad for humanity. Lord knows if Justin Bieber dies at 27 he'll be in that group too, only proving that music is dying.

Early tragic deaths especially in musicians has a way of elevating their statuses over the years. In time she'll be thought of in those terms.

Would anyone even know of her if it wasn't for Mark Ronson?
