    I might add:
Tom Dooley (, the only American to become Deutscher Meister
Jóhannsson scored against the mighty Borussia (I didn't like that)
Alfredo Morales scored for Ingolstadt against leverkusen in December
    there might be more...

Paul Caligiuri played Bundesliga but only scored for tiny Meppen in 2.Bundesliga
the by far biggest american goal-monster in german professional soccer is Matthew Taylor (cool guy!)
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Taylor_(soccer)

the most satsifying goal for my liking is of Joe Enochs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Enochs) but that was in the DFB-Pokal: "Enochs won the "Goal of the Month" award of German television network ARD's Sportschau in September 2004 for his strike against eventual cup winners Bayern Munich" ... that was a really good deed!
he might be the American who leaves the most lasting impression because his club Osnabrück even named the breathtaking (*cough*) children-stand after him... that's for ever!

some in lower saxony call him "Fußballgott"... that's a rare and highly honorable recognition strictly reserved to players who do not kick it like Ronaldo but who are a role model for many supporters because they are loyal, humble and above all demonstrate the true working ethos on the field every week... Enochs didn't use an agent and always renewed his contract with a handshake
there even was a song "Joe Enochs, geboren um Fußball zu spielen" (Joe Enochs, born to play soccer)
sometimes I like the lower leagues more than Bundesliga...

May I add Reyna at Wolfsburg, Cory Gibbs for St. Pauli. Sanneh scored one for Hertha, but I think his Nurnberg goals were B2. Didn't Frankie and Kirovski each get one goal in the B1? I don't think Benny scored any 1st team goals for Hamburg. Not sure who else we might be missing.

oh yes, Reyna (6 goals) & Sanneh (5 goals, 4 of them for Nuremberg) ... how could they slipped my memory ;-)
and you're totally right: Gibbs, Kirovski & Hejduk with 1 each

    Terrence Boyd scored for Darmstadt
Shawn Parker scored 4 but I don't know if they count, at least he seems to have an US-passport in addition to his german one

And it's a boy (we'll be glad to help you figure out the process needed to get him a US passport... it'll involve you moving to the US for a bit):

Johnson: On the birth of my child. It’s a son, his name is Sean and he was born in the night from Thursday to Friday. The child and my wife are doing well. I’m overwhelmed with joy.

I like him playing on the left as a back, behind Pulisic, so Fabian can overlap and the players combine with each other.

Bruce would prefer him in midfield...

If Bruce can help Fabian be effective in midfield, unlike Mr. Express Yourself, that alone would be a huge jump in quality for our attack.

Agreed he would be so much better higher up on the pitch for us. He combines well, can get up and down the flank, puts in a good cross, can cut center and helps out on defense.

A winger tandem of Johnson on the left and Pulisic on the right gets our two players that are playing at the highest level in comfortable and effective positions

Playing regularly all those years in the Bundesliga, Cherundolo had to have put one in the back of the net at some point, right?

According to the detailed chart on his Wikipedia page, he scored 6 BL goals:

    only 6?

It sucks that the Bundesliga doesn't have as many videos of past games as the PL does. would have loved to see his performances comparably, season to season.

I don't have data to back me up but I think outside backs might score the least out of any position for field players, as a generalization
