Poor Doncaster has been getting blasted. They have a few games in hand, but at this rate, they're just waiting for their beating.
It is interesting to note that the bottom two teams are the ones that were promoted and they are finding it hard in the top division. Both teams have decided to have about 10-15 players training full -time while their other players carry on with their day to day job. The other seven teams are fully full time professional as far as I know. Liverpool v Notts County Chelsea v Arsenal live on BT Sport 3pm Birmingham v Sunderland
Liverpool 0 Notts County 0 Birmingham 1 Sunderland 0 Chelsea 1 Arsenal 2 Man City fans were jumping for joy after that result. But if City loses against the two London clubs..
as I've mentioned before, the English are masters in the art of scoring........own goals. But this time they raised the bar to a higher level. It takes two to set up the perfect 'own goal' . You need one field player that doesn't seem to understand that soccer is a game of moving forward & a goal keeper that feels that feels the game is nothing but move up field..........and wala, perfection!
LOL the perfect description, anyway imho the goalie made the mistake ...yes Alex's pass was too strong but she was in hurry while the goalie had all the time to see and control the ball but her positionning was completely wrong. Anyway, the game looked entertaining it's a shame that FA WSL is only a summer league as may of us are on vacation and could follow it closely....I remember one coach (I think it was Emma Hayes) who said in order to be competitive in Europe, the league should start in September....and imo she's completely right.
Not sure if it's a good idea to switch from the current summer league, Here would be the pro's ^ con's PRO side; 1) obviously warmer weather, 2) 3 of the top 5 Euro countries play in the summer(England, Sweden & Norway) 3) and really most important, not direct competition with the men's league, EPL, and we've seen interest & attendance move up by leaps & bounds in the last year or so. With the switch back, the WSL will probably be in the back pages of the sports section once again. CON side; a continues summer league could interfere with the NT's preparations for the 2017 Euros. But this didn't hurt Norway or Sweden last time around as they finished 2nd & 3rd, and neither did ti hurt England's chances at last year's WC the 2 clubs will be better prepared for the CL season, but how good are let's say Man City's & Chelsea chances of actually winning the CL championships? They don't have the top/elite internationals players like Lyon/WOB do and the domestic talent is more evenly spread out in the WSL, which is good for the league, but harder to make a super club based on these arguments, I would vote for keeping the WSL a summer league
Well they have had 6 years of effed up scheduling and this year has been the worse. On team reached half way with 3 games out of 16 played or Arsenal have one game a month in the League in the last 4 months. All the clubs have been crying to get to winter league for years now. Fans as well but the FA does not listen to fans and rightly so, because fans all have different agendas. There is a fans forums with representative from all clubs and they all fight each other instead of trying to improve the league,

worth noting for fans of England; the NWSL got two top notch rookies in Rachel Daly and now, Leah Galton. Both came through the US college system(as well as Lucy Bronze). England's under achieving men's might want to take note of that! if you never sen Dalton play, here's highlights from her Sky Blue's last game. She's featured through out and scored the only goal of the game
17 year old Georgia Stanway scored a hat trick in Man City's 3-0 win over Sunderland. She's not got the starting nod over England NT, Tony Duggan.

Doncaster 0 Man City 4 Manchester City are 10 points clear of Chelsea with 4 games to go. They need 8 points to make sure of being champions but probably 6 will do and they can probably afford to lose to Arsenal and Chelsea and still win the League. because the chasing teams are not consistent at all.
did mention the promising Leah Galton previously, and walla, she made it on the next England NT squad! Her & Rachel Daly both were named, confirming what I wrote previously that Samspon is going for a a quicker more athletic squad. Fwds that didn't make the team, Duggan, Taylor, Kirby, Aluko, Mead, Sanderson. Of those; Kirby & Taylor might be the only one's injured, Duggan has apparently lost favor with Sampson(along with Man City coach who's picked the 17 year, Stanway over her the last few games). Aluko did sort of bad mouth Sampson in the press(a no-no!). Sanderson always seemed to have problems with the FA in the past. Mead at least got chosen for a new B type team, Next Gen, started by Sampson, but still kinda surprised that she can't make the A team cut
For those who would like to see all the highlights from the FA WSL they are on the FA TV youtube channel ( in the middle of all the other videos )

Thanks to keep us update, can't wait to see Man. City and Chelsea in the WCL , franky I don't know what to expect from City as their players despite having well known names in the game are not really WCL experienced. I saw Chelsea vs Wolfsburg will be played at Stamford Bridge with only £5 the ticket price...great stuff from their board (PSG and their € 10 tickets price should take note) It's a shame that one of the two teams will leave the competition so early. So Arsenal missed Europe for the second time in a row despite their imposing recruitment campaign...... did the #losaout hashtag already started...lol. It hurt to see a team with zero point, really sorry for Doncaster now I get why the FFF's system (1 point even when you loose) is actually the best one...
