It was a pen. If one of our players decides to aqua plane into the box, I think they're entitled to push the ball past and wait to be wiped out.
Son drew two penalties very similar this season if we like the pen when he gets them, we have to accept when he causes them as well it was a poor decision, he needs to trust the rest of the defense and the keeper
tbh I thought Spurs had the better half other than the big mistakes. first 10 minutes or so were poor, but they were winning 2nd balls for most of the rest, controlling the pace and possession, & just needed a bit more awareness a few moments I think Spurs have another goal or two in them I am just worried that Chelsea might as well....
Not to bring a painful memory, but wasn't Atkinson the official in charge of the League Cup Final(?) who awarded a phantom goal?
If Spurs can defend in their usual manner I would say Chelsea wouldn't. Given how they defended thus far, I can't disagree.
