i'd wager at least a couple weeks its funny, I was thinking just before Eriksen scored, that he'd done F*** all since he came on. similarly, just before Son scored, I had been thinking how poor he had been ever since Kane went off. so with that logic, expect Dier to score, and Trippier to score twice in the 2nd half, cuz they've both been poor as well, IMO
- Son hat trick - Janssen scored - clean sheet - Sissoko played in natural position Solid day overall. Now we just have to hope that Kane isn't hurt too badly.
I'll take it. I just hope Kane's okay. Janssen's goal will, hopefully, start a deluge -- but he had some not-so-great touches and ill-advised attempts on goal. (That kills me to write it, because I'm a major optimist.) But I really do love this team.
From the highlights, two things stand out: 1 - Son has become a two footed player. 2 - Janssen is truly respected and part of the team - that was a bit more than congratulations everybody gave him after his goal.
am i the only one pissed at Pochettino for even playing Kane in this match. i mean c'mon, its Millwall ffs. i would have given Janssen 90 minutes, and said prove yourself.
yeah, I thought the same, but it's always easy to comment afterwards... anyway, can take all the positives, only the bent on kane ankle didn't look good at all...
Nice way to go out at WHL for last FA Cup game there. Hoping this team can take it all the way, winning something would be a huge confidence builder for the team. Not good about Kane, hope that's not as bad as appears. Janssen may get his chance to prove himself. We're going to Wembley... COYS!
and if Kane doesn't start ppl would be bitching at Poch for not taking the competition seriously enough *sigh* there's no way he can be correct with some people
Probably not, but it is likely the only trophy Spurs have a shot at winning this season, and you make sure it happens with the best team out there. This isn't Football Manager. btw - http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39250817 Good job Millwall.
