I forgot Hazard was on the field. Literally.

And the changes at the back are compounded by the two changes in midfield so that the entire back 6 are different.

Well one thing is certain Pedro is not a wing back

Great point. Not having Kante the sponge in front of the back line is exposing them. Tbf, our biggest threat going forward is fabs passing but our limited tackling in the middle is also a major flaw of this line up.

If Barca still wanted Moses I would drive him to the airport myself.

Genuinely getting angry about this. The abject rubbish being played from the back means hazard and Costa aren't even getting a sniff.

Just play them like they are a premier League side and don't forget the basics. Ffs.

We are not going to win this by tipy-tapy through the middle at the edge of the box, If I wanted that sort of thing I would watch the Arse or Barca

2-0 from Costa seals the deal

Happy to see him score. He needed it. WE needed it.

Well the best that can be said is that we are in the draw tomorrow. Very pedestrian performance.

Ake looked very good. Not sure Zouma can play in a system that requires defenders to have a lot of time on the ball.

Moses; omg. This is exactly why I think his position can be upgraded. He was....not good.

Yep. Moses has been serviceable and at times good but overall this is the weakest position for us right now which is weird because Cesar can do a job there I feel.

Zoumas strengths have been pace, power, aerial ability but not ball control. It's also early in his reintroduction to the team though and I feel there's a place for him in the back 3, just not as distributor (luiz can do that just fine).

Overall I'm glad we got some younger players some match time and of course the win but it does help conte see room for upgrades some of which will require the transfer market.

If our biggest gaps are at wing back its a major improvement on worrying about the spine. Squad looks like it will be deep and good for a while and with lots more matches next season, it will need to be.

Lol, have been thinking exactly that since they won their match. When it comes to their ground, no one put it better than Sir Alec Guinness.

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Not the best performance but as is often said, there are no easy games, too many top clubs think that all they have to do is turn up with their boots to win the game, hence the high level of giant killings in this particular competition. Although 'it was only Wolves' 2-0 is a good result, one that both Stoke City and Liverpool would have happily taken.
