Yeah, so..... we got Everton @ Anfield. Man City got Spurs (no), Chelsea (no), Leeeechester (no)......they got Port Vale.
People wonder how Pep can manage to play in 4 comps: 2019/20 FA Cup: Port Vale (H) 2019/20 League Cup: Preston (A), Southampton (H), Colchester (H) 2018/19 FA Cup: Rotherham (H), Burnley (H), Newport (A), Swansea (A), Brighton (N), Watford (N), 2018/19 League Cup: Oxford (A), Fulham (H), Leicester (A), Burton (H/A), Chelsea (N) 2017/18 FA Cup: Burnley (H), Cardiff (A), Wigan (A) 2017/18 League Cup: West Brom (A), Wolves (H), Leicester (A), Bristol City (H/A), Arsenal (N) 2016/17 FA Cup: West Ham (A), Palace (A), Huddersfield (A), Middlesbrough (A), Arsenal (N) 2016/17 League Cup: Swansea (A), Man Utd (A)
hopefully this doesn't turn into the Gosling Derby....they had him tipped for big things after that late extra time winner.
damnit. 2 opportunities each a year for them to kick crap out of us is bad enough. this game has seen more red cards than any other Prem match-up - 21 total, 14 of them given to Everton players.
hahhahha how lucky is the City!! anyway, i'm confident the reds will pass everton... and at least play the FA final.
Love that draw. We get to see the kids back in action. I’m convinced we go to Wembley and lift the trophy. It will be a good warmup for the Champions League final.
I don't really think we should be playing weakened sides from the 4th round onwards - as a problem that could arise is that the team that won yesterday could maybe beat Bristol City 2-1 or 3-1 and thus create a sense of the idea that most of them should keep playing in the FA Cup, which basically means if we draw Arsenal or Leicester or Man Utd in the 5th round it'll be curtains..... Let Adrian play through the whole way IMO .... and Curtis and Origi and Minamino and Shaq would be vying for places but I personally would be starting a strong team .... particularly given that it's a weekend game....
draw in full .... PL teams bolded Bristol City or Shrewsbury Town v Liverpool Watford or Tranmere Rovers v Wolverhampton Wanderers or Manchester United Hull City v Chelsea Southampton v Middlesbrough or Tottenham Hotspur Queens Park Rangers v Sheffield Wednesday Bournemouth v Arsenal Northampton Town v Derby County Brentford v Leicester City Millwall v Sheffield United Reading or Blackpool v Cardiff City or Carlisle United West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion Burnley v Norwich City Bristol Rovers or Coventry City v Birmingham City Manchester City v Fulham Rochdale or Newcastle United v Oxford United Portsmouth v Barnsley
I hope that is a bit of tongue in cheek. We've been embarrassed before. But then Klopp won't underestimate a team looking for a moment of glory.
I don't know why you'd think that was tongue in cheek!! Are you seriously telling me that Everton are better than Bristol City or Shrewsbury????
So Shrewsbury, on the River Severn...just a short jaunt south from Anfield...another chance to see the kids (or at least some of them)...
As more players come back from injury, we can still make 11 changes and play less kids. Fabinho might need a game. Matip and Lovren could be back. Ox and Shaqiri could start. Some of the kids might actually miss out.
