Speedy wingers are attractive to these teams. Problem is, Bunbury has no end product.

He's still automatically protected, being HG.

only problem I have is protecting Bunbury over Goncalves or Femi. Femi was more productive in his less than 300 mins than Teal with more than 1600. two different roles but I think everyone here noticed that Femi brought a little something to the table that the Revs were lacking.

Since we suck worse than either of the expansion teams, can we make some picks after they are done? Oduro is a guy I wouldn't mind having here.

I don't see us losing anyone. Are any of our guys among the top 10 of all the exposed players?

I agree on both points. Maybe we can acquire Oduro though one of the waiver drafts later this week?

I am seeing Femi on a few people's lists, but with each team only picking 5 players I think they will focus on proven starters and that's not Femi yet. I think we are much more likely to lose Watson more then anyone, the guy can give you quality minutes pretty much anywhere along the back line or the midfield.

I would say the chances are we lose:

    Watson - 50%
    Woodbery - 30%
    Knighton/Shuttles 25%
    Femi - 15-20%

The wild card would be JoGo.

    I don't disagree.

Why is he still protected and Diego isn't? They are both HG and both are ot on their initial contract.

100 percent. I guess I'm not sure what the strategy is here.

the strategy was the same as last time. keep crappy over paid players at the sacrifice of a younger guy with a big upside who makes less...... seems sensible to me

Diego's no longer on his initial contract. He signed a new deal a couple of years ago

[EDIT] In addition, he signed a multi-year contract extension this past January, apparently

I'm certainly no hero in spotting talent, but it really seems like the FO has an inordinate amount of love for Bunbury. I mean, he's serviceable, but it seems they were willing to part with an up-and-comer (Femi) and a more talented player (Davies) before Bunbury. Am I missing something with this guy?
