I hate to defend Pastorino, but I don't know if you can blame the entire situation on him. He traded a youth international slot, which at the time was essentially worthless. The one we used, Christian (I can't remember his last name), almost never saw the field. I don't think anyone foresaw MLS turning that roster mechanism from a youth spot into a full international spot. But then again, he did trade it permanently. Who trades away an asset permanently? Only idiots like my brother do that, and he was trading away other kids' Charizard cards instead of his own. I take it back, Pastorino was an idiot.
Christian Ramirez is someone I think was worth a look for RSL. a little steep at 575,000 or so but if he could finish he could score a bunch of goals with our midfield and wings. Just a thought. Uneducated but still a thought.
seemed pretty good at it against us But this isn't happening. If we didn't try to get him in the season when the trade was out there why would we now?
This is getting weird. When will we find out what the heck is going on with the GM role? Is Waibel staying? Are they negotiating? Are they talking to candidates? Is anyone even asking the question? Hello? Is there anybody out there?
There are still *checks notes* 19 days left in 2018. We got a ton of time. Sure, six of those days might be Saturdays/Sundays, and four are either full day holidays or the eve of said holiday's that tend to not have a lot going on, but that still gives us *does the maths* nine business days. Look at all this time. And come on, it's not like some significant things are happening right now around the league. Surely they would let things rest a bit after just barely crowning a champion. But really, this is horrific. I don't want Waibel as the GM, but I'd rather have him as GM than NOBODY and the club just sitting idle on all of this important shit happening. If Elliot Fall is really taking the role, announce it already. I think he's worse than Waibel, but he's SOMEBODY.
Maybe the FO is working frantically behind the scenes, getting the new GM announcement together. I kind of hope that's not the case, because I'm having fun watching 15 trying to explode that blood vessel in his head. Even if he doesn't give himself an aneurysm, this may be our last, best chance to get a real rant out of the boy.
Circus, Carnival... I was basically intimating that Carnival Real had moved from the front lawn to the front office.
