Polster played RB full 90 in Gers League Cup match vs East Fife. It was pretty windy conditions on a lousy plastic turf. Polster did well being used to play on questionable MLS surfaces . Rangers won 3-0 with their "b" team.
I did an interview with Sega about youth development and what the club means to him: https://mlsmultiplex.com/2019/08/20/chicago-fire-interview-gonzalo-segares/
Which team, Orange County? At least the goalkeeping coach is Chicago Sting goalkeeping "legend" Victor Negueira.
Junior Agogo passed away https://www.kickoff.com/news/articl...-star-striker-junior-agogo-dies-age-40/661688
Junior was a good guy , I (along with a few others) got to know him in his brief time here. Over the years I crossed paths with him on a handfull of occasions and he always greeted me with the biggest grin , a hand shake and a hug. It was a joy to see him play later in his career and display the talent he was gifted shine. I know he also worked incredibly hard later in his career to get where he was . You'll be missed .
Is this on anyone's radar? Sebastian Mila joins all-time Fire great-if-not-for-the-hammer Tomasz Frankowski. They play some old Brazilians. Can't wait! http://soccerlegendscup.com
Yeah he only played 5+ minutes, but Jeff Larentowicz winning the USOC, https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019...nnesota-united-1-2019-us-open-cup-final-recap
What's this about Edwards being told to just collect his check and not bother showing up. I'll bet they took away his red stapler too.
Crap, I had completely forgotten that was still employed by the Fire. I thought he had been sent packing earlier this summer, but he is still on the roster. He has not played a minute since June 1, 2019 and played in only 4 games all season. He is still tied for 8th on the team in goals this season. Seems like a spectacular use of the $400,000 in funny money we paid for him a little over a year ago and an excellent use of an international slot. It can't be that he has a guaranteed contract, since he is only earning $70,000. https://www.chicago-fire.com/players/raheem-edwards https://mlsplayers.org/resources/salary-guide He was moved to "storage room B," I believe. Well, to be fair, there aren't that many red staplers to go around.
Jesse Marsch has RB Salzburg atop the Austrian Bundesliga with a 5-0-0 record. They also are in the group stage of CL with Liverpool, Napoli, and Genk.
Too be far. RB Salzburg has been the best team in the league for the last 5 years (by far), their winning percentage is 66%
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/09/20/seltzer-ten-best-players-ever-play-mls WOW!!!!!! Peter Nowak doesn't even make the honorable mentions list. Does the league hate him that much?
