I’m not going back through the whole thread, but a definite shout out to Jim Curtin. He started with a Fire-quality team, was given time by ownership, and now sits on top of the Conference.

Agreed, and "fire quality" is probably a stretch. On talent alone, our current team should dominate the current Philly team.

This tidbit from the 2019 salary posting is amazing:

Yura Movsisyan Major League Soccer F $2,050,000.00 $2,273,750.00

14th highest paid player in the league.

also, the 3rd highest paid player (in guaranteed compensation) is
Giovani dos Santos Major League Soccer F $4,750,000.00 $6,500,000.00
LAG bought out his contract but the league is still paying him his full salary?

So basically LA is paying him, unless he's getting paid by both.

I would assume that they would buy him out for less than the full amount. I am sure the league is kicking in some money.

So LA is getting the FIRE treatment :) like the league is helping out paying Bastian's salary.

Daneil Cyrus starting for T&T against Panama in thrilling Gold Cup Group D action. Joevin Jones on the bench. Lots of Yalloping from what I can tell.

  14. Horrible match. I'm flipping between Cubs-Sox & this turd. Just as I type that T&T cough it up in their own third and Panama score. Well, the game needed a goal. It probably needs more.

How is it that TOYOTA Park/Seat Geek Stadium can't get any of these games? Every group stage games should have been played in MLS SSS's.

USMNT not looking good against Guyana. Will be lucky to make the Semis playing like this. Thank God for the USWNT. Only winners I get to root for.
