Sarachan switching things up for the game vs Italy. Going with a 3-5-2 by the looks of it.

Horvath, Carter-Vickers, Zimmerman, Long, Moore, Cannon, Adams, Acosta, Delgado, Pulisic, Sargent

I never understand the hype surrounding Cameron Carter Vickers. Everytime he's played with the US, he's been bad. Im not one to care too much about height, but he's short doesnt read the game well enough to make up for it.

CCV is too slow to be a RCB out alon. He would be better a CCB. Him and Zimmerman should switch. I don't like Adams playing a full then a playoff game Sunday. Dave somehow used Trapp for the England game but not this game when Italy play at a slow enough pace that Trapp might be useful.

Horvath has been the one bright spot so far today for the US. Still like Steffen better for the #1 jersey, but Horvath looks like a competent backup to him.
Been said enough recently, but it really is high time for Stewart to appoint a permanent coach. As an temp guy, Sarachan has done reasonably well enough, especially in making a conscious effort to give young players a chance, but his limitations now are really starting to show.

Horvath had some mentla blocks and butterfingers with Brugge, he just got back into getting gametime. I know he was great at the U-level but it will take a while before I am sold on that guy.

Adams was just standing there on that Game winning goal. He's clearly tired. But he really should have done better.

Really like this guy, but what's his next move? I'm thinking Spurs may be a good fit.

Thanks for posting. Like the guy and his story. Think this is more impressive than Leicester City's run.
Yeah but what if he grows Bournemouth into a Spurs level team? He is perfectly positioned to do so. Not only is he not held back by staying, the club is also not hampered by him staying. Very rare you say that given how long he has been there.

He's done well in the transfer market with players like King, Ake, Begovic, and Lewis Cook. Next step in the club development is obviously maintaining this high level, as well getting to that point where they don't necessarily need to look for a bargain. Very happy with him so far though. Great run they've been on.

The Prem has made me a better manager - Guardiola

    www.skysports.com/football/news/11679/11559832/pep-guardiola-premier-league-has-made-me-a-better-manager

A daunting thought for everyone else in the league. The Prem may not be the best league there is, but it's definitely one of, if not the most demanding league. Despite the numerous guys to change the team to his liking, Pep still gets credit for adapting pretty quickly, following an up and down first season in England.
Unless something really unfortunate happens, it's hard to see how City will not repeat for the title this season, with City looking better with each passing season under Pep.
As mentioned, just a scary prospect for us and everyone else.

He could stick it out at Bournemouth, but he has said a number of times he is ambitious and owing to their location, ground, finances etc. their ceiling (the Leicester exception aside!) would be something like Burnley last year getting into the Europa League and we have seen how hard it is to sustain that without a big squad.

A top-tier club like us won't go for him sadly as not proven (include modern City and 'pool in that), but agree that a move to a top-team where top-four is the main target which really only leaves Spurs or possibly Arsenal would seem the best fit.

I think he should avoid the middleground 'big' teams like Everton, Newcastle, West Ham, Leicester (and Celtic) as these clubs are all expectation without the means for execution - so just chew up managers and spit them out. He would be better off sticking with Bournemouth than these.

Only other option would be a move abroad, which given his family ties I don't see happening.

So Bournemouth until a vacancy comes up at Spuds/Arsenal/England most likely IMO.

Man I love Rafael da Silva, but he jut got sent off for a two footed tackle. Really stupid tackle. At this stage in his career he is still reckless. The same reckless is reportedly why he is always injured. He had the potential to be United RB for years and possibly even get a look for Brazil.

Im just disappointed after seeing him get sent off.

Sadly he will probably disappear into obscurity without a manager like SAF to keep him honest. He was like a father to Fabio and Rafa.

Alli puts Spurs in the lead vs Chelsea. After our result today, a Tottenham win would be the worst outcome for this game here.

Son is feeling it today. Would be surprised if he doesn't score.

That's 2-0 now, with Kane on the scoresheet. Chelsea strangely are completely dominated and overwhelmed in midfield.

Spurs have figured out Chelsea's midfield. They are man marking Joriginho and forcing Chelsea to play through Kante and Kovacic .

Son makes it 3-0 for Tottenham, on the back of superb solo effort. Well deserved as he's worked his butt off today.
