Jeopardy: “What did DLH have to say about hiring an accomplished, experienced, well-regarded manager for RSL?”
David Silva to Inter-Miami looks pretty certain. Edison Flores to DCU reported for $5MM transfer fee.
PTFC about to sign Polish striker Jaroslaw Nietzgoda. Inter-Miami reported to be seriously interested in Gareth Bale.
In case you wanted a summary of all the legal actions taken against and by MLS teams (and USSF!) this year, @soundermiki has a great post on his blog here https://socceresq.com/2019/12/30/your-guide-to-every-soccer-lawsuit-in-the-united-states-and-beyond/ I'd have put it in the RSL news thread but there wasn't anything new about the arbitration.
My God. Some interesting cases discussed in that; not least of which is the last one...a lawsuit intended to force USSF to implement promotion/relegation. Of course, that outcome can be impacted by the earlier listed lawsuit which disputes the USSF’s authority over professional soccer.
Look’s like it’s official. $9.4 Million transfer fee. $6 Million/annually + incentives. 3 years guaranteed.
That's a good get. Gregus for MN is fantastic. Rusnak is good (could be better if we utilize him right). Beric is a solid addition to the league, although I don't think he'll be much better than a non-snake-bitten Mihailovic, aside from being younger. (Man, that guy had a rough go of converting chances after his first year!)
Nashville is my 2nd home (at least in spirit), this will be my 2nd team. Hoping to see RSL play at Nissan Stadium in July.
FCD sign Franco Jara FCD sign Liga MX forward Franco Jara to pre-contract. He will join FCD this summer.
