Really struggling to see this logic, but I may have a unique perspective since I spent a lot of time in the locker room and on the training pitch from 2007-2012 and from my observations the contributions of Beckerman behind the scenes for this team are massive. He was tremendously significant in building a culture of success for this team in the first couple of years after joining in 2007. Ned, Borchers, Javi, etc. contributed later on, but in the beginning it was Kreis and Beckerman who were most responsible for turning this club around. I don't think the team would still even be here without him doing so, but who knows. I'm sure there would have been no MLS Cup in 2009 without his influence on building and shaping the club. If I'm arguing only based on game day contributions, I guess I could argue either way, but if I take everything into consideration, it's not even close for me.
PTFC kits are awesome. Also, they finally have been able to kick PSU football out of Providence Park. They will be able to rip out the artificial rug and replace it with grass in the near future.
Who says they will? It might make sense from a soccer standpoint, but then they might be giving up an edge that they have over other teams that don't usually play their games on an artificial rug. And their kits, meh. Looks like what they have always had.
The week's top story in US Soccer: Landon Donovon debuts for the San Diego Sockers of professional indoor soccer and nets a power play assist. He didn't have too many touches but did beat out all other players with most receded hairline.
Or SkullCandy? Stance? IHC? University Healthcare? Podium? BioFire? Deer Valley Resort? Canyons? Pluralsight? 1-800-contacts? BombooHR? Health Catalyst? Four Food Groups? Cotapaxi? All Utah companies with street cred and most with great logos.
I'm hopeful that by the time the current sponsor is up, we'll be able to grab a legitimate sponsor, because the MLM's won't be able to spend as much as the other sponsors.
I prefer Delta, but I think the best would be old Ski Utah licence plate logo or Utah, Life Elevated. However, I think that some groups would strenuously object to the Great State of Utah giving money to a local sports team.
True. However there’s nothing like that prohibiting the local ski industry from from sponsoring the team and having the Ski Utah or other logo on the jersies. Or having the Utah Tourism Industry Association do it. Other groups could partner in this: Utah Restaurant Association, Utah Hotel & Lodging Association, Utah Tourism Office and others.
Toronto FC got absolutely hammered on the road in the CCL, in Panama - 4-0. Meanwhile, first RSL opponent Houston won their game in Guatemala 1-0.

The highlights on the actual CCL website are awful. These used to be funny to watch because of how much they decided to include. Hell, like the first 45 seconds would be non-game related stuff. But now? Now it's like they couldn't publish the videos fast enough.
SKC dominated Toluca. Holy Cow. They would need to absolutely fall apart at Toluca to keep from advancing. ATL looks pretty bad against Monterrey.
Rev's owner could be in trouble. Police: Patriots owner Robert Kraft solicited prostitute http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...ft-solicited-prostitute/ar-BBTX73N?li=BBnb7Kz
I read that on-line also. I also read something on-line stating that many other celebrities were also snared in the sting. I guess we'll just have to wait to see if that was fake news or what.
With SKC up 4-0 on aggregate in the 51st minute it seems safe to say that all four of the American teams will advance in CCL.
Have to admit it- - - watching the Toluca crowd shouting OLE at every SKC pass and giving standing ovations for the SKC players being subbed made me truly hate our FO last night.
Toluca looked really really realy bad in this series. Not to take anything away from SKC (they also looked very good) but good god I can't remember a weaker looking Mexican team in this tournament.
Colorado plays the coldest game in MLS history. I wonder how cold they’ll let it get before they cancel games for player and fan safety.
