A very MLS trade. I'm surprised they didn't throw in some magic beans and pocket lint to sweeten the deal.
Wot? I thought that he was a vital member of the LAFC soccer team. I guess he wasn't all that important.
Austin FC officially announced as the newest team and they are already hard at work at making themselves a Mickey Mouse team. These chants are hilariously terrible. 1085294516742041601 is not a valid tweet id
Really? I thought he was off to greener pastures (read: Mo' Money!!!!) overseas. I guess when you come from a country that is currently an international basket case, then the US of A looks pretty good. Good for Atlanta, but bad for the rest of the MLS's defenses. .
The El Tree chant is just dumb, yes. But who the hell was like "hey, lets make a chant about our vote to become a team?" Especially when it was 7 to 4. Like... that's not good.

Good. You hate to see them retire way too late and have a lasting image of them trying to hang on too long. Like having guys run by you in the midfield like you're standing still. Pretty fine career overall.
Interesting. I guess Claires or Forever 21 backed out of sponsoring their front of jersey this season? Maybe they should try for Nordstorm's. I hear they think they invented shopping.
dude, our jersey sponsor is a ********ing MLM snake oil selling "company" that, if I'm honest, I always worry won't be able to pay the bill to be our sponsor. Zulily is funny, but it's miles better than ours
I certainly have little or no affinity for MLM smell you well snake oil or whatever it is they sell but at least the front of the RSL jerseys don't look like their trying to sell you stuff for a bridal shower. Which it is what the Sounders jerseys are doing. Literally. No offense to bridal showers. Although, whenever my wife goes to a bridal shower I say, "hey, take her a soccer ball." What could go wrong?
Wow... bit surprised to see folks here being negative on the Zulily jersey sponsorship at Sounders. It's just putrid adolescent sexism: 'girl name on shirt' ... giggle... 'next thing you know they'll be wearing pink'... giggle... Dang, man up and grow the F up. It's a successful brand that is based locally in Seattle and makes money hand over fist. As 15 to 32 said, if a news story rolled out any day from today to a year from now saying that LifeVantage was suddenly bankrupt, I wouldn't be the tiniest bit surprised. The FDA has sent warnings to LifeVantage for making unsupported claims of being capable of curing cancer and diabetes. It's looks to me like a freaking scam based on that. If Zulily were to make such an announcement of bankruptcy, I'd be shocked. Zulily's worst fault is that due to the distributed nature of their product sourcing and delivery, there are some quality control complaints. RSL's jersey sponsorship is a shame and should be ended... but it won't because dear leader owns a 5.1% stake in the company since 2015. (Wouldn't surprise me to learn that's how they paid some of their sponsorship, in company equity, which is a very bad sign if my speculation is true.) Where's Xango, by the way? Yeah... swirling, as LifeVantage will be soon, no doubt.
I just wish MLS could bag the big brands in a given area and I thought Seattle had come the closest to that benchmark with XBox. This just seems like a step backwards. Where's the obvious Starbucks shirt sponsorship? You know, because Emirates just screams London.
Zulily is also sponsoring the Seattle Reign in the NWSL and even the Sounders academy. It's a pretty comprehensive deal, and a solid sponsor.
