Oh please, please, please, not Inter Miami. Beckham can be a bit more original with the name of his team. And the flamingos? Meh. Pink and black has been done before by Palermo. They should try some other colors.

 

dude, ALL of the colors have been done. At this point you're just trying to use the less used ones (which our club failed at miserably).

If they are going to use the Inter Milan name, why don't they use the Inter Milan colors? That would make more sense to me than pink and black.

Since they have flamingos on their crest, why not call the team Flamengo Miami? Get it? Flamingo, Flamengo?

(Note: For all you know-it-alls who will attempt to point out that flamingo isn't flamengo in Portuguese, well no duh! Here's where the name came from and "flamengo" in Portuguese also means "flemish".)

and thats why Inter Miami can't wear Inter Milan colors. The whole setup is already taken. Sure, they could be blue and black, but then you're going like 75% of the way.

Also, there is more than one club with "Inter" in their name in the world. That's the nature of the beast. We don't have white and black (with the occasional purple) kit but we're Real. Nobody is losing their shit (outside calling it a dumb name)

Why can't Inter Miami wear Inter Milan colors? Where does it say that it is against the rules of the game to wear the same colors as another team? If Inter Miami wanted to wear the same colors as Inter Milan, they can do it.

Still, although I think the name Inter is kind of cool, I think it's just lazy naming the club after Inter Milan. You know, like the Real Salt Lake name.

 

After having watched many episodes of Miami Vice, they sure like like flamingos to me.

 

No, Inter Miami needs to use AC Milan colors and follow the RSL tradition of naming your team after one team, but then using the colors of their hated rival. That way you can annoy your potential fans that may like either of those teams. Win-Win.
