    Frankfurt, Germany

Chelsea (4th in EPL) league form: WWLDD
Frankfurt (4th in Bundesliga) league form: WWLDD

    How they got here:
->Frankfurt finished first in Group H ahead of Lazio, Limassoll, and Marseille. Defeated Shakhtar, Milan, Benfica in knockouts.
->Chelsea finished first in Group L ahead of Bate, Vidi, and PAOK. Defeated Malmo, Kyiv, Slavia in knockouts.

Chelsea injuries: CHO, Rudiger, Cahill, Ampadu all out. Willian a question mark.
Frankfurt injuries: Tawatha (LB), Haller (CF) out.

Frankfurt have some really good players, notably Jovic, of course, but also Rebic, Rode, da Costa, Trapp, Gelson Fernandes, Kostic, etc.

This could be a bloodbath if we are sloppy as we have been all year in defense. Best worst-case scenerio we can hope for is a 2-1 loss, but I do see us losing this one.

Frankfurt coach yesterday was pretty much saying, "Press! Come on!"

    Just win.

I'd take that. A winnable tie but need to keep it close today.

Guess we'd be overachieving to be the great Frankfurt after all..

The usual negligent 'marking' there. And that AC challenge was vicious. Could have been a red.

Dominating them. Really deserve another goal here.

I guess this is a dangerous scoreline, as us scoring doesn't change anything for them. Need to be super tight at the back in the home leg.

I thought we played well and we could have won this game with just a little luck. Absolutely a great game for Ruben. Not sure why we would take him off tbh. Hazard did very little when he came on. Maybe he should have started the game?

Frankfurt players had a lot of cramp towards the end. Frankfurt did better in the first half. Second half we dominated, but just lacked that elusive goal.

    Arsenal in the final perhaps?

Solid result, score draw on the road. Could have scored another but so could they. Nicely set up for next thursday.

Let's hope the lads are up for it against Watford.

It's funny how in just about every game we have 10 minutes of being bloody awful?? Apart from those 10 mins or so I thought we controlled the game (doesn't always guarantee a good result mind - just ask Liverpool!), overall I think we probably deserved a win to be honest.

Didn’t get to watch the game just the highlights but from what I’ve read, heard and watched seems we were unlucky to snag 1 more. All in all happy with the result. We just need to handle our business.

From the sound of things it seems like Jorginho was great.

I think if he stays next season he'll come good.
