    When : Thursday, November 8 @ 3:00pm EST
    Where: Emirates Stadium
Tv: B/R live and check local Spanish TV

Time to lock the group stage down and keep our unbeaten run going.

I have no idea about injuries and what rotating the manager will do, but it’s a home game against competition that didn’t look to bothered the last leg. Both are pretty much through the group so I don’t expect too much of a challenge on this one.

Likely our last challenging Europa league game until the round of 16 in mid-March!

I suspect Emery is more bothered by this match than we are. But let's get a result just to keep @crazy150 's streak alive! (oh, and the club's too)

BTW, my dvr says it's on UniMas at 3pm. :)

We actually need to win this match. If we don't, we'll need results in the last two group matches at a time when we have a lot of fixture congestion and are playing Sp*rs and United.

I want nobody on the plane to Ukraine.

A draw will likely do. That would give us 10 points and sporting on 7. Even if vorskla beat quarabag, they’ll be on 6 points going into the last two games. If they beat us, they’ll be on 9 and would need to beat sporting in Portugal. We still finish 2nd at worst.

If we lose tomorrow then it’s diceier, but we still have quarabag at home. I don’t think wiknthe the group is as important in the Europa league.

Agreed. We don't need to win this match. But, as I said earlier, Emery seems to take Europa very seriously, taking no chances, and approaching each match with near maximum effort. So what you & I think is pretty irrelevant.

Honestly I was thinking I should just stop thinking. I'm not gonna worry whether we go for a W or sit back and absorb pressure. Emery knows what he's doing with this Europa thing, and I can't watch the game anyway.

If we haven’t topped the group before Vorskla, evidence says Emery will take a strong team there.

And then we have Sp*rs and United in the next 6 days after that match.

From today's presser, this should clear up any doubts...

Emery on being one win away from qualifying and if that affects team selection…
UE: Of course the first [target] for us is to finish first in this group. Tomorrow is a very important match because they are second in the table and if we win, we are first in the group. That’s our clear target tomorrow.

How weird is it that we don't have to rotate match day threads between people every 3 weeks :D

    Also, 3-1 to the Arsenal.

The recipe for success in a European group stage is win at home and draw on the road, so 3 points please!

Minute 12. Everybody associated with this game has been rendered asleep by the metronomic pace of the game; tick.tock.tick.tock.... you are getting sleepy...

    Somebody. Please do something.

I don't know. I thought we started pretty brightly. Showing good intent.

I just wish somebody would ban short corners.

Lichsteiner gets yellow for kicking Nani. Not much there, but yellow none the less. Still 0-0 at minute 22. Miki looks good.

I walked away from my screen only to see Danny on the ground with 7 staff around him, an O2 mask, and Guendouzi looking in real shock. What happened? Leg break??

Edit: and no replays being shown... just the announcer saying "Ay caramba!"

Wellbeck down in the goalmouth. Looks like a broken leg. Not good at all

edit: Danny stretchered off. Abamayang coming in. This is unfortunate

The fact that he brought in Auba instead of Nketiah says something about how seriously the boss takes this game.

Bad news for DW23, but time for one of the youngsters to take his place for a while.

I switched over to my laptop and www.univisionnow.com. As long as your cable lineup includes UniMas then you can watch it live there (just a few secs behind live).

Ugh, Mkhi really isn't on his best form lately. Rare, dangerous FK just outside the area and he skies it high and wide.

Edit: and now we show negative desire to get into their final third. We need a total reset at HT. Come on , win this for the Danster!!

Nice start to 2T with a blitz ending up w/ Mkhi cross to Auba shot which misses by a foot. All super high paced. Maybe that HT talk did some good? ;)

Did Lichtsteiner and Jenkinson switch sides?
