    Big game boys and girls.

Benfica will be without Enzo and Salvio due to suspension. They are awaiting word, due the morning of the game, on whether or not Markovic can play. I'd suspect he can't. That leaves Benfica short of wing players. Hopefully we see Gaitan and Andre Gomes from the start.

Sevilla is a very good team. I was more afraid of them than Juventus last round.

    Should be quite the game.

I thought I already told you guys last year, if you go to a final, make sure you win it. I guess Porto will be the only Portuguese team that can win finals.

On a serious note. JJ still shows that he cannot win the big one. The two times he wins the league are only due to the fact that Porto has had a really bad year. JJ I think is getting better but still does not convince me that he is a good coach but almost a good one.

JJ at Porto would of won this, once it went to penalties, you knew, stab through the heart.

Clear penalty in the first half.

    About 3-4 golden opportunities.

And it still went to penalties. And terrible, awful penalties by Cardozo and rodrigo. The entire bar knew Cardozo was gonna miss.

Only have themselves to blame. Good job by Rakitic and Beto and the rest of Sevilla.

Yeah but Benfica played with 4 Portuguese. That's just as important as winning a final to Sporting fans

But only through massive injures and punishments, we just do not have the luxury or the commitment of SCP or in that matter the coach or the 'financial incentive' (bogus) to be Portuguese. How many good Portuguese players have we discarded lately or left behind. The next coach needs to take a look (prefer a Portuguese coach). JJ has always petered players that were given the benefit in there own countries to shine then take a LONGER gamble and mature Portuguese players, we need to move on, no one can take this much heartache, JJ must go, else we are History (EURO FAILURE).

Tough loss, but not the bucket of cold water like last year. Benfica played an excellent game and deserved to win in the 120 minutes. Unfortunately PK's are a crapshoot.

I think Benfica was on the wrong end of some no-calls in the area. There was 3 plays that could have resulted in a PK, but didn't. Also, the two missed shootout PK's should have been re-taken, but whatever. Benfica has had an amazing season. This trophy would have been nice to add to the collection, but losing it doesn't ruin the season one bit.

    Forca Benfica!

Disagree, fair play to Sevilla. If we criticize their style of play then were nothing better than a juventus fan

Great to see fans with that attitude... personally, as a neutral fan - I want to see the best team win, and from what I saw Benfica played the better football on the night so that's who I was rooting for, also taking into account Benfica losing out last year but when it went to penalties, you could kind of tell what was going to happen.. anyhoo, congrats on the Portuguese title and good luck in next years champions league..

Thanks bud. It happens. Cant help but think that if we had our full squad thinks may have been different but congrats to Sevilla. They simply got it done and we did not.

Perez was missed a lot. Andre Gomes is still a few levels below him.
