Ah got it! Ha yeah I hope the same happens to them that happened to Man U. No team is entitled to win leagues or cups or play in CL.a bit of reality needs to set in. Man city fans seem to have the balance and patience right between expectation and reality.
No Cinderella left in the FA, but we already knew that. Semi-final Chelsea-Spurs, Citeh-Le Arse. What a pathetic display by Man U. Never had any intention of playing today, just tried to thug it up and was down to 10 with 55 left.
Rojo stamp. Let's hope the FA are consistent in their punishment. Of course the ref probably saw it and no retroactive action will be taken. You'd hate a big team to be punished.
I don't speak Spanish but I heard that Sevillas match report from Tuesday made a point of mentioning that they led in "all significant statistical categories"
Kgilbert, this may be right down your alley, but does anyone know of local establishments that show Bundesliga matches? My son will be at this weekend's Bayern Munich - Borussia Moenchengladbach match, and I'd love to watch it live. I'm pretty sure I can find a live stream online somewhere. Still, I'd prefer to watch it in a local pub.
This site is usually good for figuring out which channel a game is on livesoccertv.com Oddly enough, given the rivalry, looks like this is only on GolTV. May be hard to find that at a local establishment. Usually a big rivalry game like this is on FS1 or FS2. Looks lik ethey may be trying to get people to get Fox Soccer Plus for this match--and I doubt many bars have it. I have not always had much luck with Wurst und Bier, even though they supposedly are a German bar--but to be fair, I've not tried much since the Bundesliga package went to Fox. Ditto Hofbrauhaus, though we got a game there put on once or twice--but it's not automatic. Good luck. I don't have FS+ either, so will be not watching this game...
BTW, I've seen a report that Borussia Dortmund is planning a US trip in 2018. Not sure whether it will be during the winter break or between seasons. It may not come off, either, that far out. Gladbach was supposed to train in Denver a few years back as part of the Bundesliga cooperation agreement with MLS. Never happened.
Gol TV (at least prior to last World Cup when I was a customer) is in the standard package for DirectTV, so if a bar has DirecTV they should be able to put this one for you. YMMV, as this could have changed since I switched, though.
Dropped in 2012 according to this article. http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/thegoalkeeper/168008326.html Possible they picked it up again, though. It usually is part of Spanish TV packages (how I had it a few years back), so some Mexican places might have it.
Right. Im hoping it was some kind of accident, but i suspect its more likely to be some kind of attack. Such a bummer. Marc Bartra was injured.
Broken wrist for Bartra. Match will be played tomorrow. It was definitely an attack but no attacker or motive identified yet.
