There are so many of us on here from all over the world I just wait till someone on here says they have had something before I believe it. No rush now anyway as it will be sooner rather than later now.
Yeah I will wait until someone on here posts an email. Will do the same if I get an email as well. Chances of getting England tickets are obviously slim to none, so a rejection/no email is likely for me.
They are going these Fans Club Countries first. So yesterday was Sweden, today NL, UK tomorrow, rest of the world Monday
I assumed the Dutch would take up the group matches at the arena hence I applied for the last 16 there.
Nice one, Hearts123. In all seriousness, is there any anecdotal evidence from previous ballots that applying for a less fancied venue increases your chances of getting tickets for the more popular ones? Like from previous World Cups?
I put in for six games in the first ballot. I got all 6. I put in for 2 Budapest and one Bucharest games. Cat 1 for 2 of them and Cat 2 for the other. I cannot say that it had anything to do with it, but the skeptic in me thinks maybe it did.
Believe after he's said more, his was through the Dutch FA. Just thought I'd share. Still, however you look at it, not long until we do find out Maybe tomorrow! If not by Friday, very much doubt it will be over the weekend. I'm going to have a hunch we will find out tomorrow or Friday!
not necessarily in the ballot, but there are people who put in for loads of matches and then change their mind nearer the time. just wait until the resale window opens
Many countries did straight sales with codes rather than ballots. Wales, Germany, France spring to mind. I'm assuming the majority of national federations went this route. Sweden and the Netherlands ballot results are out. England are not out yet. Are we waiting on any other countries? Denmark maybe? I'm guessing the country specific ballots might be done before the general public one.
Good morning. I would assume that the team specific tickets at this phase would be kept seperate from the general ballot as the country FAs can always shift them to their own fans/players/relatives over the next few months. Shouldn't affect this phase. Getting awfully tight wrt 'end of January'
The bulk of competing country tickets are normally returned by national federations if unsold at this stage. They will be sold via the UEFA portal in the spring. .A separate allocation for the football family in all 55 national federations does not have to be returned for a few months yet. Ditto for UEFA sponsors. I have heard there is a small allocation for hosts that fail to qualify. The sales are independent in this phase but my guess would be now that all country ballots will be completed before the general public one. Hence my guess is the England ballot results will be announced before the general public one. I've no idea how Denmark handled their tickets but they are the only well supported nation I can think of that may not have announced results.
The 'end of January' date given by UEFA is for the ballot emails (successful/unsuccessful) being sent out and not necessarily for payment
true - but what about the secondary people who get a chance offer people don’t pay? They have to keep watching their emails until Easter?
