Just received an email from UEFA informing me that I have scored 4 tix to 2 of the matches in Rome next summer. Need to pay for them by the 18th. Decisions, decisions.

Congrats. Sounds like you're going to have to find a way to make it a "business" trip :)

Kean & Zaniolo face Italy omission
    By Football Italia staff
    [IMG]
Moise Kean and Nicolo Zaniolo are not expected to be called up by Italy for next month’s Euro 2020 qualifiers.

It was first reported in the wake of Italy Under-21’s European Championship exit in June that Kean and Zaniolo would be overlooked by CT Roberto Mancini.

The Everton striker and Roma midfielder were dropped for the Azzurrini’s final U21 Euro match against Belgium due to lateness.

Now, as per Corriere dello Sport, Mancini has decided not to call up the pair for the seniors’ upcoming fixtures against Armenia and Finland.

Instead, they should stay with the U21s and form part of the first squad named by new boss Paolo Nicolato.

He is a Raiola client, which means his head has been filled by crap from his agent.

    Interesting selections:

Italy squad to face Armenia and Finland
Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Milan), Pierluigi Gollini (Atalanta), Alex Meret (Napoli), Salvatore Sirigu (Torino)

Defenders: Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Mattia De Sciglio (Juventus), Emerson Palmieri (Chelsea), Alessandro Florenzi (Roma), Armando Izzo (Torino), Gianluca Mancini (Roma), Luca Pellegrini (Cagliari), Alessio Romagnoli (Milan)

Midfielders: Nicolo Barella (Inter), Bryan Cristante (Roma), Jorginho (Chelsea), Lorenzo Pellegrini (Roma), Stefano Sensi (Inter), Marco Verratti (Paris Saint Germain)

Forwards: Andrea Belotti (Torino), Federico Bernardeschi (Juventus), Federico Chiesa (Fiorentina), Stephan El Shaarawy (Shanghai Shenhua), Ciro Immobile (Lazio), Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli), Kevin Lasagna (Udinese)

Very surprised with SES being called up as going to china is usually a death sentence for your international career. I'm shocked he did not include Zaza who had a very good preseason. Also disappointed that he omitted Lazzari

Don't know why Mancini keeps calling up Lasagna, there are better options, why isn't Petagna given a chance and yes SES shouldn't be there either. Also why the hell does Mancini need 4 goalies

Another big omission is Politano who has also fallen out of favour with Conte. For the sake of his career, he better hope he gets transferred in the next two days

Another stellar performance by Orsolini today. He's senior team ready IMO.

What are your guys ideal forward formation?

My choice would be an Insigne - Immobile - Chiesa trio.

De Sciglio is a ********in bum and should never be part of this team.Hate that guy. Florenzi is not a proper right back either but id rather he be there than that piece of shit rube. Calabria is a better option at least he starts for Milan.
We need Conti 2017 Atalanta form to come back and shore up the right side.

Orsolini should have definitely been called up, disappointing to not see him there.

It pains me to see Chiesa on the right, he sucks there, and is much better on the left IMO. Insigne in good form

All the Italian fullbacks are very average right now. Before these call ups I thought that Biraghi was the only lock. But guess I was wrong (Unless he’s nursing an injury that I’m unaware of)

Florenzi is not good. At least not at RB.

    De Sciglio mediocre.

Emerson Palmieri hardly plays at Chelsea. I still wonder why Mancini includes him.

Pellegrini is not ready for the senior national team
