Oh, as I say that Ronaldo rolls a perfect pass into the goal. 4-1. Now the hat-trick is official and Bernardo Silva controlled the ball and made the pass look very comfortable - all to make me look like a liar. :)

I didn't actually but believe what you will. I just feel like you are a pessimist. I'm more optimist. I had confidence that we could win this game comfortably with the way we were playing, our finishing just needed to improve and it did.

4-1, this game is over and Ronaldo should be taken off. You should back the team up a little more and have faith. Just my opinion. No hard feelings.

We have Rafa Silva, Felix and Guedes on the field now. Want to see one of them go on a 50 yard run and score.

I won't argue about that, though I consider myself more cautious.

Happy with the result, just hope weak opponents have less space to counter and don't cause Portugal giveaways so easily in the coming matches against Lith./Lux.

My app gave him the goal too. You could argue that his miskick created so much spin that the goalie had no chance. :)

If they counted the 4th goal, he just surpassed Robbie Keane as the top ever goal scorer in Euro qualifying games with 24 goals. Another record in his books.

5-1. Amateur hour defense. William C scores another toe-poke. He's on fire. :)

Games this level shouldn't be played on a synthetic field, and FIFA shouldn't allow it. Anyways.
CR7 played a positive role (better than on the game against Serbia), and Bruno Fernandes had a very negative impact, just like against Serbia. He's outstanding with Sporting, and mediocre with the NT. He's been given many chances by FS, but he keeps disappointed, or even being a problem.

Their stadium is pretty much no different than the common American high school bleachers you see in every town in the USA. That’s the best place they have for the European champions and CR7 to play against their national team? How embarrassing.

Not trying to be a Fernandes homer, but he was one of the best midfielders on the field. Threading accurate through balls and passing well. His shooting was not good, however.

You definitely come off as a homer. I think Bruno Fernandes is great for Sporting at the club level, however when it comes to the NT, his share of quality matches have been so far and few between.. i constantly rip on Fernandes and get this weird look from people as if i am crazy.

Its weird to me, it seems because a player has been rumored to be signed by a big club or gains any level of recognition on the global scale he is deemed a super star.

Fact is, he doesnt fit with the NT, atleast not in the way he is being used.

If it means anything, i thought William and even Neves to a certain extent wasnt very good either. I thought the midfield up untill the 2nd half was a huge disapointment. They almost went unnoticed and left a lot to be desired between the D-Line and front 2/3.

I also feel the same way about B.Silva at times. He is super inconsistent and really believe if Santos is gonna play with a 3 man midfield, either Bruno or Bernardo need to be used as a CM and not as a LW/RW to get the most out of them.

All things considered. Bruno Fernandes is not NT material at this point in time.
