According to the guys on SER they said that Spain would play the third place team in Group F if they finish as one of the top 4 third place teams. I am looking on the Euro site and still can't find out how that is decided.

Oh wait, not our last game will matter, Because if Croatia win they become first, and second in our group will most likely play Italy (if they become first in their group)

And if they win that, then in the quarterfinals they would meet the winner of "Runner-up Group A" vs. "Runner-up Group C".
By winning Group D Spain would potentially avoid another group winner until the semifinals.

I think that guy is wrong. Everything I've read and heard, is that the best 3rd out of those three groups (B E F) will play the first in our group. So whichever 3rd out of those groups get the most points and goals, will be our opponent.

So right now I'd say chances are high we'll play 3rd from either B or F.

As the 3rd of group E will either have 1 or 0 points tomorrow.

First time in history that Spain have opened a major tournament (Euro / World Cup) with two wins while not conceding a goal.

Should be interesting if VDB mixes it up next game and gives a few players a rest yet still field a team that can be the Croatians! Aupa Espanha y La Furia Roja!

Last goal conceded in Euros was scored by Antonio Di Natale in the opener of 2012 (1-1 v Italy).
Since then: 6 wins, 1 draw (0-0 semifinal v Portugal, advanced on penalties) with 15 goals scored, 0 conceded.

Add in 2008 and Spain have gone 14 consecutive Euro matches unbeaten, a new record.
Iniesta and Cesc are the only players to have been involved in all 14 matches.

If the Croatia wants to win the group, they will have to beat us. We just need is a draw... They will not Bunker.

They can still become a best 3rd if they win against the Czechs.
That's why I think the group stage isn't really that exciting, a team can lose 2 games and still advance. Nothing of what we've seen so far really "matters".

Worse than the NHL when it comes to teams that make the playoffs! 66% chance of making KO round in Euro 2016!
